Comes here in good heart after two recent hurdle wins at Southwell. Not raced on the flat for a couple of years (had fair form in Germany). May find this trip on the sharp side but maybe check on the amount of market support.
Some fair form in Ireland for Jim Bolger, despite only having AW maiden to show. Raced prominently and tired late on in stable bow at Chester (1m5½f, good; 12-1) last month. Should be sharper this time.
Consistency has been absolutely faultless since the start of the year and she has proved she can do it on turf the last twice too. Slight question mark stepping up in trip but goes well at this track and is a contender.
Ran creditably when upped in trip to two miles last time at York and generally a consistent type. Finds winning difficult and once again may have to settle for minor honours.
Had some fair form for Roger Charlton over 1m 2f as a three-year-old. Has struggled over hurdles since his last flat appearance when down the field in Newbury handicap (1m2f) on soft ground. Unlikely winner but not totally out of it on best of form.
Racing close to his last winning handicap mark and this course and distance winner put in a decent performance at Chester last time out when only run out of it in the closing stages.. Holds every chance.
Seems to have improved over the winter shown by two good recent performances at Lingfield last time out and over course and distance the time before. Handicapper may know too much but will certainly run his race. Chances.
Versatile middle-distance performer at this level. Generally consistent. Ran well here last time over 1m4f. Will appreciate step up in trip but does not look particularly well handicapped at present.
Finished last season with a flourish winning two minor events at Haydock over 1m4f. Excuses for poor performance on reappearance at Newbury and improved last time out at this track. Step up in trip to suit; interesting.

Course and distance winner RAVENOUS is in good form and heart at the moment and was an unlucky loser last time out at Chester. He has an excellent chance of getting back to winning ways here. Dono di Dio is a very consistent filly and holds every chance if enjoying this step up in trip while General Zoff is expected to run his usual solid race. A quiet shout out goes to Brancaster who won twice last season and is slowly coming to hand. He is expected to enjoy this step up in distance.
- Ravenous
- Dono di Dio
- General Zoff
