Maiden following four bumper starts and three over hurdles. Beaten 31L in a maiden at the beginning of the month and needs blinkers to have an inspired effect on handicap debut.

Global Rhapsodyp36
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-11| J: T Scudamore| T: N P Mulholland| OR:  99
6/1
Having cost a hefty €110,000 he finally left his previous form behind when third at Bangor on handicap debut last month. Should continue to improve and a likely challenger.

Oldabbey Bridge28
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-9| J: J McGrath| T: C Hobson| OR:  97
100/1
Hasn't shown enough in four starts over hurdles and failed to build on Huntingdon run when very disappointing at Uttoxeter on handicap debut. Remains easy to overlook for now.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-8| J: S Bowen| T: C T Pogson| OR:  96

Only the one win in 32 starts and tends to pull his chance away in these races, as was the case again at Huntingdon last time. Eye-catching jockey booking and perhaps the extra trip will help but others preferred.

Weakened quickly from three out having been in contention at Uttoxeter latest and that seems to be what to expect again, having run to a consistent standard of late. Remains out of form.

Catch My Drift220
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-8| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan| OR:  96
18/1
Yet to score in 15 starts over hurdles in Ireland with just two thirds to his name. Hard to know still what his best trip is and only of interest with significant market support on season and stable debut.
7
Horse silk
Dun Bay Creekp48
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-7| J: David Noonan| T: R Brotherton| OR:  95
80/1
Won once over hurdles for Alan King but has been sent off at long odds and finished pulled up twice and tailed off the other, in three starts for new yard following a near two year absence. Hard to make a case for.

Lovely Touch39
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-7| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: D J Jeffreys| OR:  95| CD
16/1
Three-time winner over hurdles back in 2016 and 2017, including over this C&D for Sam Thomas. Weakened from four out on chase and stable debut following a two year absence and could be better for the run back over hurdles.
9
Horse silk
Shanksforamillion236
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-5| J: Ben Jones(7)| T: Mrs D A Hamer| OR:  93| D

Returned from wind surgery with four poor runs last year, including being pulled up on three occasions. Absent since October and hard to fancy on season reappearance.

Horse silk
Jimmi Chew35
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: Kielan Woods| T: A M Hales| OR:  90
11/1
Has struggled to get involved in four starts over hurdles so far and pulled up on handicap debut last month. Needs to find significant improvement to be competitive.

Raise Your Shades97
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-1| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: B Pauling| OR:  89
20/1
With a strong yard but has really struggled to make any sort of improvement in six starts over hurdles and pulled up twice in handicaps on both runs this campaign. Best waiting for signs of improvement.

Safe Home44
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-0| J: P J Brennan| T: T O'Brien| OR:  88
2/1
Irish raider returned to his best following a 614-day absence when landing a gamble at Market Rasen last month on stable debut. Up 4lb but the time of his win backed up the performance and could have more to offer up in distance.
13
Horse silk
Showem Silverv16
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-11| J: Aidan Coleman| T: J Candlish| OR:  85| D
8/1
Formerly trained by Noel Meade in Ireland he has really struggled to find any sort of form in five chase starts and a pulled up effort over hurdles since joining this stable. Easy to overlook.
14
Horse silk
Minnie Escapep47
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-9| J: James Best| T: V R A Dartnall| OR:  83
40/1
Yet to get in the money in five starts over hurdles so far and weakened badly from three out on handicap debut at Exeter. Questions remain up in trip.
15
Horse silk
Outlaw Jack30
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-8| J: Nick Scholfield| T: J Farrelly| OR:  82
14/1
Former point-to-point winner but yet to get anywhere near the money in six starts over hurdles, including in handicaps the last twice. Stable in decent form but hard to recommend.
16
Horse silk
Willyegolassiegob1,t18
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-7| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N P Mulholland| OR:  81| D
14/1
Seemed to lose her way following a mistake at three out last time and best judged on two solid previous efforts this year at Fontwell and Wincanton. Could easily bounce back and go close.

Forecasts

Safe Home (2/1), Global Rhapsody (6/1), Showem Silver (8/1), Bridey's Lettuce (9/1), Trafalgar Rock (10/1), Jimmi Chew (11/1), Outlaw Jack (14/1), Willyegolassiego (14/1), Lovely Touch (16/1), Catch My Drift (18/1), Raise Your Shades (20/1), Shanksforamillion (22/1), Speedy Gonzalez (33/1), Minnie Escape (40/1), Dun Bay Creek (80/1), Oldabbey Bridge (100/1)

Verdict

Willyegolassiego was in good form before she landed awkwardly when in contention last time and is worth another chance. Preference though is for Irish raider SAFE HOME , following a fine effort following a hefty absence. Global Rhapsody showed much more last time and that could be the trigger for further improvement.
  1. Safe Home
  2. Willyegolassiego
  3. Global Rhapsody
