Due Diligence colt bought for 65,000 gns made a most pleasing start on the AW at Wolverhampton finishing third of 11 to a decent winner. Improved nicely to win in good style at York and sets a clear standard. Cheekpieces added.
Havana Gold colt fetched €30,000 as a foal; a second foal to an unraced dam with plenty of stamina on that side. Likely to need his debut and further in time.
£10,000 yearling. Fifth foal. Half-brother to winners Hasselnot (1m, inc AW) and Timetodock (6f 2yo), out of 5f winner. Little to take out of his April debut and remains best watched.
Gelded son of Helmet showed pace and ran a very good third last month on debut at Wetherby. Likely to improve up a half furlong and the most likely to benefit should War Storm fail.
Gelded son of Epaulette and a ninth foal to a 6f winner; half brother to two sprint winners and bred for speed. Stable flying at present so well worth a market check on debut.
Not far away in all three starts this year, racing to a consistent level in the process. Gelded since and a reproduction would be good enough to see him in the money. Should prove competitive.
G Force colt, cost £35,000 as a yearling. Dam a juvenile winner and half-sister to a US sprinter. Has shown a similar level of ability in both starts to date and place possibilities with progress.
Son of Elzaam cost €16,000 as a foal; 10th foal and a half-brother to winners Nurture (1m2f), Upper Silesian (1m4f), Cliff (6f-7f) and Cala Corallina (1m2f). Worth a market check on debut but likely to need further in time.
Society Rock colt was a £8,000 purchase as a juvenile; sixth foal; half-brother to four winners including German Listed winner Swift Approval. 66/1 and well beaten on debut and remains best watched after that.
Fast Company gelding outran his 66/1 on his Wetherby debut in May and bred to improve as he goes up in trip.. More needed but wouldn't need much progress to sneak into a place.
Camacho half-brother to 7f winner Alyaa and useful 7f-1m1f winner Glorious Artist. Looked in need of the run at Leicester on debut but bare form would see him be competitive again with some improvement.
Daughter of Slade Power cost 9,000 gns as a yearling and a first foal to a juvenile winner. Likely to improve with time for this stable and best watched on debut.
Daughter of Kendargent and a sixth foal; half-sister to 5f winner Desert Ace. Lots of speed in pedigree but stable making a slow start with their juveniles.
Forecasts
War Storm (8/15), Saint Of Katowice (11/2), Cruising (9/1), Zuckerberg (12/1), Hi Harry (14/1), Out Of Here (18/1), King Lenox (28/1), Kendred Soul (33/1), Araka Li (40/1), Chocoholic (50/1), Wots The Wifi Code (50/1), Abbey Wharf (100/1), Tiltilys Rock (100/1)
WAR STORM may have a penalty but providing he handles the likely easier conditions, he is going to be very hard to beat. Cruising looks a clear second pick from a promising debut while King Lenox should run his race again. Hi Harry shouldn't be underestimated on debut.
