Winner of four of his 30 Flat starts on turf and the Sleeping Indian gelding is currently running 6lb lower than his last winning mark. Running well in defeat in a couple of starts since April and looks capable of hitting the frame.

Off the mark, on similar ground, at the sixth time of asking for connections when landing a Limerick handicap over the extended 6f off a 5lb lower mark. One of a number of interesting combatants in this contest.

Distance winner who is two from 21 Flat starts on turf. Could have excuses in a big field at Leopardstown recently but has been overall running well in defeat since returning to action in April. Could be a danger back below last winning mark.

Running well in defeat in a number of starts since February, but overall is more of a handful on the AW at Dundalk. Tough and genuine sort, but liable to find one or two stronger types in the race.

A number of disappointments last autumn and on return to the track last month has seen the geldings mark come back down towards his last winning mark. Possibly best watched unless the market suggests otherwise.

Still only has a maiden win to her name when in the hands of trainer Stan Moore last year. Best run for current connections came in a 6f handicap at Sligo last month. A repeat performance is far from guaranteed.

Will have disappointed connections in a seven run losing sequence since making his debut in August. Handicap mark continues to fall but hard to be confident at present.

Has failed to fire in a couple of starts on the AW at Dundalk and on turf at Navan this term. Others more appealing on the balance of overall form.

Good form on the AW at Dundalk earlier in the year has yet to transfer to turf as highlighted by a couple of dismal efforts at Sligo and earlier this month at Navan. Others preferred but may be too early to write off.

Winner of two of his 31 starts on turf and has hit the frame on a further six occasions. C&D form is a positive with the Dark Angel gelding finishing second on both starts here two years ago.

Not beaten far and certainly not disgraced in career starts but the Slade Power gelding remains a seven-race maiden. May have been given a chance running 13lb lower than initial handicap mark with Albany winning jockey on board.

Nothing of note in a number of below-par efforts since the gelding made his debut in November. Will need to raise overall profile to play a role.

Without success in five starts finishing well beaten on each occasion. Struggling in recent efforts and tough to see where improvement is coming from.

First Reserve: Only career win in 15 starts came over this C&D last summer, beating 12 rivals off a 1lb higher mark. Could be of interest if making the line-up.

Verdict

Given her form since returning to action in May and the win on her latest start earlier this month at Limerick, it's hard to ignore the chances of CANFORD ART. The four-year-old can see off the attentions of the solid and consistent, Harry Speed for trainer Garvan Donnelly and the Dance Alone who is 2lb lower than last winning mark. If getting in to the race, C&D winner Very Smart is worthy of further consideration.
