Had smart form in France last season (not beaten far in a Group 1 contest). Three runs since moving to the UK have been underwhelming including when well beaten last time out at Nottingham. Best watched.
Has improved for every run this season without getting his head in front. Won twice last season at Haydock and York in good style. Close to a winning handicap mark and a matter of time before he wins again.
Another who has been slowly improving this season and won well at Haydock last time out when making all. Allowed to dictate that day and may not have things all his own way off 5lb higher mark.
Busy and generally consistent sprinter who ran a reasonable effort last time out at Haydock in a slowly run affair. Wins his fair share of races but never won off such a high mark.
Best effort for a long while when fourth (not beaten too far) at Thirsk last month. If reproducing that form he holds every chance off his current mark. Respected.
Put up a much better effort at Thirsk last time out (held by declared runners Jabbarockie and Excessable). Course and distance winner on firm ground last season but needs to be back to his best to go close.
Has improved for every run this season since joining new connections culminating in a fine win at Pontefract last time out. Can score again in his current mood and looks the one to beat.
Has been in good form since landing a Beverley handicap in April running two decent efforts at Thirsk. Veteran can run well again but may find one or two too good.
Busy and consistent gelding who was a shade unlucky last time out at Musselburgh. Arguably better on the AW but has turf form as well. Likely to run his race and one for the shorlist.
Well held by many of these at weights on his performance at Thirsk last month. Had previously shown a glimpse of returning to form at the same track. two weeks previous. Chance at best of his form at these weights but seems out of sorts currently.

Harome (5/2), Lathom (4/1), Jabbarockie (9/2), Excessable (7/1), Primo's Comet (17/2), Canford Bay (10/1), Royal Brave (12/1), Longroom (20/1), Bashiba (22/1), Secretinthepark (25/1), Cox Bazar (40/1)
EXCESSABLE has dropped to a handy mark and has shown solid form this season suggesting he is ready to get back to winning ways. Lathom has been quite progressive this season and may be the one to give him most to do. Harome is another who seems to be improving for each run and is certainly due a deserved win. The in-form Jabbarockie is entitled to run a big race.
