On a long losing run but most of his recent efforts have taken place on the AW; set to race from 5lb below his last winning mark but last month's seasonal debut was a poor effort. Stiff test ahead.
Ran well in a similar race over C&D last week and respected as a relatively lightly raced individual who can thrive over this trip. Up just 1lb but can again go well.
Sole win came on raid on British prize-money at Hamilton last August; struggled since and well beaten in two recent starts over hurdles. Has a bit to prove.
Put together a string of decent efforts and top marks for consistency. Been hard to win with though and has been kept very busy since his last win. Suspicion that others might have more resolution in a tight finish.
Poor strike-rate but arrives in good heart and posted his best effort - on turf - for a while when second in a handicap at Gowran Park last month. Not much to find to get competitive again. Contender.
Back on a reasonable mark but has been treading water in his races for a while now. Respected but become hard to win with.
A winner under both codes and merits a betting check from 4lb below his last winning mark; well held in three starts this season and now has a bit to prove.
0-19 on turf and has a bit to find with a few of these - was 6l behind Lizard Point last time and has work to do to just reverse that form.
Has won over hurdles but is a long standing maiden on the Flat; behind Ineffable at Tipperary latest and, from a lowly rating, he's hard to recommend on face value.
heads the list of those set to race from out of the weights and needs to prove he'll adapt to racing in cheekpieces; also has a long absence to overcome.
0-20 (ten on the Flat) and has rarely threatened to even make the frame; latest effort was his best for a while but consistency isn't a strong point and only he knows how he'll cope in racing from a career lowest mark.
Poor run of form showed no signs of abating when the gelding finished down the field (behind a few of these) at Gowran Park last time; not hard to leave out of the betting plans.
A rarity in that he's such a low-grade runner from a top yard; lightly raced on turf and gets the three-year-old's weight allowance, so no forlorn hope. Worth a betting check even though his latest effort was poor.
Unexposed in comparison to his elders and might do better at this trip; dangerous to underestimate but does need to improve.
0-5 so far and difficult to make a case out for the filly even though she is unexposed at the trip and is having only her third start in a handicap.

A tough one to call, which is complicated by the percentage of horses that have to run from out of the weights; however, LIZARD POINT is more consistent than most and can take the beating if he builds on his latest start. Dromana is lightly raced and merits serious consideration but there are dangers aplenty, so support for the likes of But I Like It, Papal Parade, and Sharjah could also be rewarding for each-way punters assuming a full field come through the starting stalls.
