Daughter of Pivotal made a highly pleasing winning debut when running on strongly over 7f at Kempton (AW) in October. Stayed on well for second over a half furlong further in a strong Nottingham novice this month. Sets a very good standard.

Daughter of Lope De Vega with lots of stamina on her dam's side. Likely to need a stiffer test of stamina in time but worth a precautionary check in the market for these connections on debut.

Lope De Vega filly cost 155,000gns as a yearling. Half-sister to seven winners including Group Two winning sprinter Anjaal. Ran well for a long way on last month's Haydock debut and likely to see the trip out stronger with that experience.

Daughter of Intello out of the 7f-1m Listed winner Fantasize; half-sister to three winners including the Listed-placed Illusion. Ran green on this month's Ripon debut and will undoubtedly benefit for the run, however big improvement required.

Sea The Moon half-sister to five winners. Has run twice over 7f at this track when a fair fifth on sole start last year and running to a similar standard when third in a maiden last month over the same C&D. A reproduction would see her involved.

Forecasts

Loolwah (7/4), Shaqwar (11/4), Lope Scholar (4/1), Incredulous (9/2), Casting Spells (7/1), Amber Star (10/1), Happy Face (10/1), Lady Amelia (16/1)

Verdict

Shaqwar has run well in both starts over 7f at this course but may prove vulnerable to types on a more rapid rise. Lady Amelia shaped well on her first start last year and is the type to improve with age. Casting Spells seemed to need her run on debut and should only benefit for the experience, however LOOLWAH made big progress on her second start and that strong form could be hard to beat. Lope Scholar is a very interesting debutante for a stable going so well.
