Arcano gelding out of a Sadler's Wells mare. Below-par three-race maiden for trainer Henry Tett. Others look open to more improvement on stable debut in this contest.
Returned from 19-months off to gain first ever Flat success getting off the mark at the ninth time of asking in April before a solid run in defeat at Tipperary earlier this month. Entitled to make the shortlist once again.
Well held when finishing down the field in three career starts to date. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Below-par sort for trainer Robert Cowell, recently seen over hurdles without success for new connections. Losing run expected to continue in this contest on return to the Flat.
Distance winner of a Tramore handicap in August off a 5lb higher mark. Well down the field in a number of starts since and first time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Sole win in 16 starts for the Born To Sea gelding came in a Roscommon maiden in August 2017. On a long losing run and unlikely to be troubling the judge in this contest.
Poor form in a couple of bumpers before disappointing connections in two grim efforts on the Flat at Cork and the Curragh last month. Needs to improve on even his best form to take a hand in the finish.
Sole career win came on the AW at Lingfield when the mare was in the care of trainer, Martyn Meade. Not the most reliable of sorts and has been round the block in terms of trainers.
10-race maiden without success in four starts on the Flat. Hints of ability at Fairyhouse last month but appears no nearer to breakthrough success.
Distance winner who has a couple of turf victory's to her name, the latest of which came in a Roscommon 1m4f handicap four years ago. Well held on latest start at Tipperary earlier this month and likely to find it tough going here.
28-race maiden without luck in 17 starts on turf. Down the field once again on his latest start at Gowran Park last month and not in the form required to play a part.
Not disgraced in three starts on turf, finishing in midfield on a couple of starts. Ninth of 13 on handicap debut at Gowran Park when last seen in April and rates a major player in this company.
16-race maiden without a win in six starts on turf. Usually seen on the AW at Dundalk or across the sea at Newcastle or Wolverhampton. Difficult to fancy off bargain basement mark.
Seven-race maiden who has found it equally hard going albeit over hurdles, on the AW or on turf. Left with something to prove on the balance of his run at Cork recently.
Plenty to like about the Dunaden gelding's efforts at Leopardstown and Cork last month. Likable type who should be in the mix.
Five-race maiden who has appeared over-whelmed in her first couple of handicap starts last month at Leopardstown and an audacious trip to Redcar. First time blinkers inconceivable to produce the required amount of development needed to play a role.
Well held at very long odds in all three maidens before making no impression on handicap debut at Leopardstown last month. Sent off at a big price on latest start and unlikely to make a significant impact in this contest.
First Reserve: 17-race maiden, 13 defeats coming on turf. Ran as well as could be expected on return last month at Fairyhouse following a 230 day break.
