Anjaal filly, dam a 5f winner, half-sister to a 7f Group 2 juvenile winner. Not disgraced when seventh of 11 at Down Royal on debut; may improve.
Slade Power filly, cost €20,000 as a foal. Dam a 5f juvenile winner. Green on debut but got the hang of things late on under a hands and heels ride to finish third of 11 (Angelic Queen seventh). Should improve and rates as a fascinating contender.
Ivawood filly, cost €21,000 as a yearling. Dam a French 1m winner, half-sister to 7f Group 3 winner. Green on debut at Dundalk and breeding suggests she may do better when tried over further.
Some promise on debut but hasn't really built on that in two runs since. May do better when sent handicapping.
Lope De Vega filly, sister to a 6f winner. Dam a 6f winner, and half-sister to a juvenile sprint winner. Well beaten 10th of 13 on debut (looked in need of the run). May need more time and a bit further.
Pivotal filly, cost €90,000 as a yearling. Dam a 5f winner as a juvenile and a half-sister to a 6f Group 3 winning juvenile. Showed her inexperience with a slow start on debut; bred to do better.
Kingman filly, showed promise on debut at the Curragh but only fifth behind the likes of stablemate Tinkerbells Effect and Aqueliga at Down Royal next time. May do better when stepped back up in trip.
Had three of these in behind at Down Royal last time out and had shown plenty of promise in two previous starts. Yard in form and she sets the standard to aim for here.
Forecasts
Aqueliga (4/5), Royal Affair (5/1), Tinkerbells Effect (5/1), Hot Dakota (10/1), For The Trees (12/1), Angelic Queen (25/1), Joupe (25/1), Mienvee Flyer (33/1)
Tinkerbells Effect sets the standard after a good second at Down Royal last time but with the distinct possibility of a sizable step forward, AQUELIGA is preferred. She was only a short head behind the Joseph O'Brien runner last time and she wasn't given a hard time in the closing stages when closing with every stride. Mienvee Flyer looked in need of the run when making her debut and is bred to be smart.
- Aqueliga
- Tinkerbells Effect
- Mienvee Flyer
