11/2
Yarmouth winner on debut (5f, good to firm; 4-1) in April (raced prominently). Much too far back in Listed York contest and likely will leave that effort behind eased in grade now.

Brighton winner over 5½f in April, only just foiled late on over 6f at Kempton on the AW since. Progressing with each run and should be in the shake-up again.

A 95,000 gns two-year-old, Sepoy filly. Trainer's two-year-old's haven't been proving the most forward bunch and others preferred on first outing.

Equiano filly. Sister to 5f/6ff winner Equistar and half-sister to 1m/1m½f winner Edge of Heaven. Chance on pedigree, market informative.

£10,000 two-year-old Hot Streak filly. Closely related to 1m winner Paparazzi and half-sister to juvenile 1m winner Cirencester. May benefit from this first racecourse experience.

Muhaarar filly whose price rocketed to €45,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to several winners, including useful two-year-old 6f winner Mar Mar. Potentially useful recruit.

Finished third of 12 in minor event at Windsor (6f, good to firm; 7-2) 22 days ago. That was an improvement on debut and should have more progress to come.

25/1
Helmet filly; first foal from an unraced dam who was a half-sister to a couple of useful winners (7f-1m2f); others rate as more likely candidates.

€45,000 yearling, Dandy Man filly. Half-sister to useful two-year-old 5f winner Ardenode. Plenty improvement needed on soft-ground Nottingham debut showing.

Forecasts

Rosadora (11/4), Love Love (3/1), Caspian Queen (9/2), Companion (11/2), Brazen Safa (6/1), Sabaaya (8/1), Little Lulu (11/1), Bainne Dubh (14/1), Queen Aya (25/1), Queenoftheclyde (33/1), Golden Slumbers (50/1), Hot Poppy (66/1)

Verdict

Love Love improved on second start to make the frame at Windsor over this trip and should have claims of being involved, along with Rosadora who was a place behind her on debut in that race. Little Lulu is from a yard doing particularly well with newcomers this term and joins Sabaaya as an interesting first-time but COMPANION may be the answer. Mark Johnston's filly made a winning start at Yarmouth and can easily be forgiven a poor run in Listed class since at York, given how the race panned out. She should resume her progress in calmer waters here.
