Ryan Canter Club Supports Lingfield Park Handicap

Ran the best of her five 2018 races over C&D in September, went backwards in three further starts and now returns from a break. Handicap mark plummeting if able to take advantage.

Inconsistent 11-race maiden but did run fairly well at Kempton last time over 7f. 3lb lower now but doesn't look one to rely on to heavily.

Twice won around here in 2015 over 7f/1m, has run well on occasions since. Kempton winner in January (1m, AW; 10-1) came from 1lb higher and fair run on turf at Brighton in April latest.

Approaching the veteran stage and has not been at his best on the AW on recent starts before rapidly weakening at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm; 12-1) back on turf. Hard to make strong case.

Lone win on debut but now at 18 starts he doesn't seem to be getting a great deal closer to adding to that. Well held recently over 7f at Chelmsford, eye-catching jockey booking here but something to prove.

Sir Percy filly made some progress in turf runs last year, without looking like winning. January's Kempton fourth (7f, AW; 16-1) came from uncompromising hold up position. Not without hopes off a break if confidence is there.

Seven-race maiden, likely needed run here over 7f on turf track recently on seasonal bow, was a bit keen and faded late no but certainly not without promise. Watch for betting clues now with run behind.

Took advantage of basement mark when making all to win at Chelmsford over a mile in April. Twice run well back there since, but proved vulnerable late on. Just 1-22 on AW and likely playing for places again.

Maiden of 10 starts now (unplaced) and hasn't really been threatening. Silvestre De Sousa takes over in the plate this afternoon and plenty to prove after recent lacklustre Chelmsford effort.

Nicely-bred filly who changed hands for a fraction of the 80,000 gns she cost as a yearling. Connections have had to be patient, first run in 18 months at Chelmsford (7f, AW; 33-1) in April understandably saw her fade late on. Can do better.

Placed over C&D in April, this trip appears most likely to see her end 16-race wait for a win, but needs to bounce back after disappointing show over 1m2f on turf track here 10 days ago. Others preferred.

Mare just missed out on a place over C&D three days ago in amateur riders' race, having gone off a 25-1 chance. Can be in the mix again if this doesn't catch her out.
