Bumper winner who has hasn't been seen over hurdles since late 2015 (three novice hurdle runs) having run mostly below-par on the Flat since then. Now goes into handicaps in this sphere for the first time on the back of a wind op/recent AW run.
Only seen twice since scoring at Newton Abbot last August off a 4lb lower mark looking ring-rusty on the first occasion. Looked back in better form last time over this trip at Warwick; should go well under a decent amateur rider.
Completed a real quick-fire hat-trick last month reeling off three wins in five days and well placed to do so under today's pilot. Handicapper has now had a chance to get his claws into him but hasn't been at all harsh (9lb rise); must go well.
Fair handicap chaser on his day although he can run the odd stinker and did so last time out after winning twice last year. Now has a rare try over hurdles (last ran over timer in 2016); can be very headstrong; hard to know what to expect.
Successful straight after wind surgery having not been with this yard for long scoring at Plumpton (2m, soft) in March off a 5lb lower mark. No more than averagely treated now but ran respectably last time; should run his race and get involved.
Having hinted at a possible revival he burst back to life with an easy Worcester win looking well handicapped. A good second over fences followed (off same mark) before he got rather bogged down in the mud at Cartmel (given plenty to do).
Cheap buy to go hurdling considering his Flat form was decent (won off a mark of 77) but so far hasn't offered any promise at all over timber. This will be his handicap debut (well weighted on Flat form) but comes with attached risks.
Won on the Flat when trained in France over 1m2f; stepped forward on her third novice run last time (settled better under a more patient ride). Saw her race out quite strongly last time; mark looks compassionate, interesting on handicap debut.
Failed to score in ten Flat and hurdles runs in Ireland although he did produce his best effort on his most recent run in a Wexford hurdle over 2m. Now with a yard that have done well with Irish recruits; note any market interest.
Type that this yard have been known to do well with in the past his career with them so far has a rather chequered look about it. Not seen to best effect last time (first run back from wind op) there remains an air of promise about him in handicaps.
Irish raider who was in the process of running a sound race when hampered three out at Uttoxeter last Friday. Attracted market attention in that race and not beyond the realms of possibility that she enters the equation again here.
Veteran handicap hurdler who took little interest when well beaten at Warwick recently. Losing run now stretches back over two years and would be a surprise if he can end that streak here given his recent demeanour.
