Paid the price for a slow start on debut at Redcar when third and still showed signs of inexperience when winning at Lingfield last time out. First-time cheekpieces may help on that front and she sets a solid standard to aim at here.
Camacho filly, cost €9,000 as a foal and £20,000 as a yearling. Sister to a winner over this trip and half-sister to 7f winner. Dam a half-sister to Listed winners (7f/1m). Yard have first time out winners and this looks a suitable test on debut.
Iffraaj filly, cost 26,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to nine winners, largely sprinters who have won as juveniles. Yard do well with their juveniles and she rates as a fascinating contender here; particularly if the market vibes are good.
Dandy Man filly, cost €20,000 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to 1m winner. Yard have been hinting at a return to form and they won this with a very useful Dandy Man filly last year. Very interesting runner.
Battle Of Marengo filly, bought for £10,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to a juvenile 5f winner. Dam a 5f winner and sister to a German Listed winner. Yard not synonymous with first-time out winners and widest draw not ideal.
Free Eagle filly, cost 1,500 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to three winners including sprinters. Dam a juvenile winner and half-sister to juvenile Group 1 winner. Sales price is off-putting but booking of De Sousa always a positive at this venue.
Hot Streak filly, half-sister to two 5f two-year-old winners. Failed to build on a promising debut at Thirsk when beaten a long way at Leicester last time out. May do better when tackling handicaps now.
