The former posted his best effort of 2019 when managing to find only the in-form Kylie Rules too good and a reproduction of that run would see him go close in this weaker contest. Similar comments apply to the latter who shaped well when making the frame at Pontefract, and dropped another 2lb seems to be coming back to form at just the right time. However, the unexposed CAPTAIN SCOTT could get off to the perfect start to life in handicaps. Although he must prove he can handle turf, he has ran okay in some good maidens and should find this assignment a lot easier.
