Beaten only one horse home in two starts to date and looks to be very modest. Despite handler's fine record with sprinters she is very hard to enthuse over.
Curragh-based raider whose young trainer is still seeking his first winner. Showed some speed on debut before weakening quickly in Newmarket maiden in April. Will know more now but should find a few too good.
80/1 runner-up on debut at Wolverhampton in April over 5f, then faded close home when fourth over 6f at Yarmouth last time. Slightly shorter trip may help and has place claims.
Very well related Exceed And Excel filly cost 500,000 guineas as a yearling. Slow to break but eventually not disgraced in finishing fourth of 8 at Wolverhampton on debut last month and looks one for the shortlist with that experience to draw on.
Went close when runner-up in each of her first three starts last term. Two runs over longer trips so far this campaign and eases back a touch since OK effort at Leicester last time.
Home bred filly by Coach House hailing from yard that specialise in sprinters. Handler going through fairly quiet spell and will more than likely be better for this debut experience.
48,000 guineas Garswood filly who belied 66/1 odds on debut when good third at Nottngham last August. Not seen again until showing speed before finishing fith of 9 at Doncaster recently. Should be better for that run.
Fair form in two starts in Ireland for Michael O'Callaghan earlier this term before sold for 20,000 guineas to join current yard. Good effort when runner-up to impressive winner at Yarmouth last moand should be thereabouts on that evidence.
Forecasts
Chil Chil (5/4), Philipine Cobra (7/2), Miss Elsa (9/2), Mrs Discombe (5/1), Casarubina (12/1), Cala D'or (33/1), Mother Brown (33/1), Scarlet Red (40/1)
CHIL CHIL is bred to be useful and she should have learned plenty from her debut at Wolverhampton where she looked green. She can continue the fine run of form being enjoyed by her team. Philipine Cobra may provide the stiffest opposition having done well at Yarmouth last time, while Casarubina could also get involved. Mrs Discombe looks best of the rest with Miss Elsa having a bit to prove at present.
