Anjaal colt cost as a €18,000 yearling, then changed hands for €125,000 as a two-year-old. Dam, juvenile 5f winner who stayed 7f, half-sister to useful 5f winner Pike Bishop. Respected on first start
Outstrip colt. Half-brother to three winners, including winner up to 6f Classic Flyer and 7f winner Tember. Market to reveal plenty on debut.
Equiano colt. Dam winner up to 1m2f, who stayed 1½m. Not the likeliest sort on debut in this field.
A half-brother to three winners, including the 6f AW winner Krazy Paving. Finished thirteenth of 19 in minor event at Newmarket (6f, good; 50-1) on debut three weeks ago.
Anjaal colt cost connections £1,500 at the sales last year. Half-brother to dual winning sprinter With Caution; only twelfth of 13 in minor event at Windsor (6f, good to firm; 50-1) recently and plenty more demanded.
Related to Jersey Bull, a winner for this yard as a two-year-old and made pleasing start over C&D when second 10 days ago. Should come on for that experience and key player now.
Es Que Love colt is a half-brother to three winners, including useful US two-year-old 7f-1m½f winner Carving. Inexpensive purchase, Nat Love in same colours looks to be owners' best hope.
Sent off 10-1 on debut at Brighton (5½f, good to firm) in April but came home last of eight. Will need to step up considerable now on AW bow to get involved.
Daughter of Cable Bay purchased for £3,500 as a yearling in October; finished fifth of nine in minor event at Wolverhampton (5f, AW; 40/1) on debut last month and more required here.
Daughter of Dandy Man purchased for 13,000 gns and should have speed, finished last of seven in maiden at Brighton (5½f, good; 13-2) on debut last month and must improve.
Related to a pair of 7f winners, not unfancied at 13-2 on debut at Redcar (6f, good) recently but well held in following six rivals home, showing signs of inexperience. May do better.
Lethal Force filly bought cheaply for £5,000 last August, didn't make strong impression at Windsor (6f, good to firm; 14-1) on debut recently. Others preferred.
Sent off 50-1 on debut at Newmarket (6f, good) last month and finished a long way down the field. Big improvement demanded on switch to this sphere.
A 7,000 gns yearling, the Morpheus filly is a half-sister to numerous winners, including very smart winner up to 1m1½f Monsieur Chevalier. Worth a market check.
Forecasts
Above (4/5), Nat Love (10/1), Second Love (12/1), Village Rock (12/1), Beat The Breeze (14/1), Fair Warning (14/1), Constanzia (16/1), Lethal Talent (20/1), Great Aspirations (20/1), Boy George (20/1), Chromium (20/1), The Blue Bower (33/1), Sparkling Diamond (33/1), Mac Mccarthy (33/1)
Having changed hands for €125,000 at the Breeze-ups, it is reasonable to expect a decent showing on debut from ABOVE. Archie Watson's two-year-old's are proving a useful bunch and the stable form is also excellent, ensuring he looks the one to be on here. Nat Love was a fair second in a weaker race here 10 days ago over C&D and can be the principal threat while Great Aspirations is surely going to leave her Redcar debut behind quickly.
