Second in three bumpers including two here but was a little disappointing in a C&D novice hurdle last month. That said there is less depth about this race and she should come on for the experience.
Unraced son of Ask; €2,000 foal; first foal; dam unraced sister to 2m4f-4m1f hurdle/chase (inc Midlands National) winner Goulanes. Likely more a long term prospect so watching brief safest bet.

Won both point-to-points in 2018 and bought by leading owners for £45,000 subsequently. Debut under rules for top yard and would be a surprise if she doesn't make a bold bid.

Twice races son of Presenting should do better now for a longer trip and obstacles considering top yard she represents. Two bumper runs were non-descript but sizable step forward expected now.
Showed little in two 2016 bumpers and after nearly three years off she has registered a C&D pulled-up and a last of six here over 2m1f. Easy to oppose.
Bumper and point-to-point winner wasn't beaten far on hurdles bow in a 2m4f maiden at Sedgefield last month when second of seven. Best form on offer and the one to beat here.

Forecasts

Lough Derg Rose (6/4), Eleanorofaquitaine (2/1), Takingitallin (11/4), Parody (10/1), Goodgollymissjolly (100/1), Russian's Legacy (200/1)

Verdict

There was plenty to like about the hurdling debut of TAKINGITALLIN at Sedgefield latest and her bumper form is also the best on offer so she appeals as the one to beat here. The danger could prove to be unbeaten pointer Lough Derg Rose who falls in the 'could be anything category' but her 227-day absence swings the vote towards Donald McCain's mare. A longer trip and the presence of hurdles should see Parody in a better light and she is best of the rest.

  2. Lough Derg Rose
  3. Parody
