Landed a Newbury Class 3 in September and highly tried since. Not disgraced last time when chasing home two subsequent winners, but drawn wide for AW debut
Form of his Newcastle victory does not look strong and he was duly last of ten on his next start. Returns to AW but current mark looks demanding.
Has done well following a gelding operation and dominated a modest lot at Southwell on his return. More to do here and interesting to see if he is supported once more.
Scored under this rider on debut but was off the track ten months before reappearing at Doncaster when third to German 2000 Guineas winner Fox Champion. Underperformed next time and headgear now applied for handicap bow.
Narrowly beat a modest rival at Lingfield and has done well to finish as close as he has in two handicaps this term, given what looked a tough initial mark. Things are about to get harder as he's gone up another 4lb for his latest effort.
Scored on the Aw at Chelmsford last term and off the mark this year on turf at Lingfield. Looks held by Attainment on running at Lingfield in April and drawn wide for this.
Lightly raced son of Aussie Rules who has done all his racing over 6f. Ran the subsequent Greenham winner Mohaather to a short-head in October and looks well-handicapped for AW debut. Bred to do better at this trip and could overcome wide draw.
Shaped with promise as a juvenile and got his head in front at Wolverhampton in a five-runner event on handicap debut. Not as good in better company since on turf, but dropped in class on AW return for yard who also run Alfred Boucher.
Best effort came in a blanket finish at Ffos Las but his runs either side of that are less appealing. Hard to argue he is well-handicapped and others carry a fitness advantage.
Wolverhampton winner in March was beaten less than a length here on handicap debut before running into a Listed class horse at Newmarket. Drops in class and the one to beat.
Picked up two small races on an easy surface last term. Beaten 22L on return and needs to prove he is up to the task.
Scored here on return but beaten on both starts since and looks held by Buckingham and Attainment judged on those efforts.
Won his fist two on the AW but the form has not worked out well and he has struggled in two of his three handicap starts. Faces another tough test here.

Mawakib (9/4), Attainment (11/2), Cool Exhibit (15/2), Oloroso (8/1), Global Warning (10/1), Alfred Boucher (11/1), Dahawi (12/1), Scat King (12/1), Tulloona (12/1), Nefarious (16/1), Dirty Rascal (25/1), Hawridge Storm (33/1), Buckingham (40/1), Hackle Setter (40/1)
Alfred Boucher looks more than good enough to win one of these off his current mark, in particular now he gets a trip more in line with his pedigree. He makes his AW debut from a wide draw and those questions may tilt this in favour of MAWAKIB. Roger Varian's charge is proven around here and bumped into a decent horse at Newmarket last time, has a decent draw and is dropped in class. Scat King outclassed a poor lot last time when fulfilling market expectations and the market will be informative again, whilst Attainment and Dahawi have tough tasks at the weights. Dirty Rascal, Cool Exhibit, Tulloona and Nefarious have each-way possibilities in what looks quite a tight handicap.
