Half-brother to 7f-1m2f AW winner Blushing Rose. Did not get the best of runs on his only racecourse appearance in May but still needs to improve dramatically to play a leading role here.

Closely related to QEII Stakes winner Observatory. Did not show much on his debut at Wolverhampton last season and the best clue about the gelding's chance should be the market.

Looks the form pick as the colt ran as well as could be expected in a Nottingham maiden in April not beaten too far and only getting the hang of things in the closing stages. Had a Derby entry at one stage. Very much the one to beat.

Possibly not suited by the soft ground last time out at Nottingham. Had previously posted his best form over this course and distance in March. Should run his race but may find a couple of these more progressive.

Decent effort on debut at Newmarket despite a slow start and was doing his best work in the closing stages. Entitled to improve plenty for that run and may give the likely favourite most to do.

Not eyecatchingly bred but is related to some middle distance winners in the US and Australia. Stable is in fair form and market should provide pointers.

Full-brother to smart 1m1f-1½m winner Sultanina and closely related to useful 1m winner Croque Monsieur. Coltish and on his toes before debut run where he never got into the race beaten 16 lengths over seven furlongs at Newmarket.

Improved on his debut run last season at Kempton when running a fair race at Chelmsford 12 days ago. This quick reappearance is encouraging but other preferred unless market speaks in his favour.

€35,000 yearling; half-brother to two winners including the 1m-1m4f Listed winner Tashaar; 25/1 when finishing sixth of 12 to the Gosden-trained Gold Stick at Wetherby in May. Needs to improve to get competitive.

Bred for stamina; beaten a total of over 40 lengths on his two racecourse appearance. Hard to make a case for him over this trip and against these rivals.

Not disgraced on his debut at Wolverhampton last month, racing up with the pace before tiring close home. Should be fitter and stronger here and capable of picking up some place prize money .

Stone last on his only racecourse appearance; not particularly well.bred (only cost €5,000 as a foal). Easy to ignore unless there is significant market support.

Did not really improve on a poor debut run at Wolverhampton when stepping up slightly in trip last time at Windsor. Would be a surprise if she is good enough to win this.

Forecasts

First In Line (4/6), Harrovian (15/8), Fly Lightly (16/1), Arcadienne (16/1), Rum Baba (20/1), Molotov (20/1), Desert Son (25/1), Kimbriki (28/1), Thunder And Light (33/1), Logan's Choice (66/1), All Right (80/1), Peripherique (100/1), Para Queen (100/1), Triple Genius (100/1)

Verdict

This could prove to be a battle between the two John Gosden runners with FIRST IN LINE taken to get the better of Harrovian though the market might be a good guide to who the stable think is the better. Thunder And Light and Arcadienne may be the best of the rest.
