Won over the shorter trip of 2m4½f at Plumpton last November but hasn't built on that success in his last two starts. Was a long way down the field at Ffos Las (2m6f) on his latest outing but he should come on for that run. One to watch.

Failed to impress in his five starts in Ireland. He is lightly-raced though and there could be improvement in him on his first run for his new yard. Cheekpieces on for first time. Keep an eye out for any market support.

Has not won over hurdles since June 2016 but she did show signs of coming back to form at the back end of last year, most notably when third at Ascot over 2m5½f. Latest start was on AW but that might have sharpened her up.

Dual-purpose gelding who has been in poor form in both codes recently, including last start when last of 16 at Goodwood (2m). Has won three times over hurdles though so it capable. Others preferred on basis of recent form.

Made a winning return to action at Southwell (2m5½f) last December after over a year off the track. Has been disappointing since then and the majority of his best form has come at Southwell.

Was in contention on latest start at Huntingdon (2m4½f) back in April before unseating his rider at the penultimate hurdle. Remains off the same mark so could make up for that mistake here. One of leading contenders.

Broken his maiden over hurdles at Fontwell (2m5½f) last month in impressive fashion as he scored by 8L. The handicapper has put him up 7lb for that win but there could be much more to come so he has a solid chance of following up here.

Was fancied to go well at Kelso (2m6½f) last month but was a beaten-favourite as he had to settle for fourth of the 12 runners. Just the 1 win from 26 in career so the best he may do is reach the frame again.

Did not jump very well when he went off as the 9/4 favourite at Southwell (3m) on latest start when third of 10 runners. If he jumps better, he will have a good chance as he has been travelling well through his races.

Forecasts

It's For Alan (7/4), Loud As Lions (7/2), Handy Hollow (7/1), Sigurd (8/1), Nemean Lion (8/1), Zamoyski (9/1), The Way You Dance (11/1), Perfect Summer (14/1), Winter Spice (18/1), Write It Down (20/1)

Verdict

HANDY HOLLOW would probably have won on his last start at Huntingdon if it wasn't for him unseating his rider at the second last hurdle. Although he is prone for having a mistake in him, if he gets round the course this time, he is likely to win so his latest error is worth forgiving. It's For Alan was impressive at Fontwell last time to break his maiden and he has to be respected despite his rise in weights, while Sigurd should be thereabouts again as he looks to looks to bounce back from being a beaten-favourite at Kelso.
