Drops back to the minimum trip after a couple of runs over 7f doing no better the second time around. Looks the sort who is being brought along gradually but of very little interest this side of low-grade handicaps.
Failed to beat one rival home in two starts last autumn over sprint trips and hard to think that he's going to show a major step forward now.
Showed ability on his one run for Roger Charlton as a juvenile; hasn't looked out of place in any of his three starts for his current yard (made handicap debut last time). Unsuited by 5f last time, needs to return to 6f to be of real interest.
Left Archie Watson after one run as a juvenile (well found in the market; ran in a hood) just running to a modest level. Ran poorly on his initial run for this yard over 5f (AW; Tapeta); early days having joined a good yard but more needed.
Made her debut for this yard off the back of a significant absence (needed race on one run for David O'Meara; never really figuring over 5f on the AW at Newcastle. Never really a threat, needs this run for a handicap mark.
Plenty of experience as a juvenile when with Iain Jardine (sold for 6,500 guineas in February); now makes her debut for her current yard. Claims on some of her form but overall it's of a modest level; remains vulnerable to an improving type.
Started at 100-1 on her debut but comfortably outran those odds briefly looking a threat to the first two when finishing third at Redcar over 6f. Gave the impression that she may do better; back to 5f now, one of the more likely types.
Looks the number one hope of the yard who run a couple in this having run commendably on her debut (may not have been in the best position on the track). Open to improvement slipping back to 5f for a yard in good form.

The form of Abate sets a good standard here but there is a doubt about his ability to handle this 5f having looked unsuited by this distance last time on handicap debut. HAREEM QUEEN has twice shown ability over longer trips but failed to get home on each occasion and a first try at the minimum trip may assist her in showing her true ability; the form of his Doncaster fourth last time looks strong. Mendamay made a very promising start to her career despite big odds at Redcar last month and she along with Raksha (made favourite for her Redcar debut) are two others that should get involved.
