Broke his maiden at Leopardstown (1m) in May 2018. Since then has only run twice, including last month where he was fifth of 12 runners at Cork over the extended 1m1f trip. Each-way claims.
Has failed to build on her maiden success at Hamilton last July over the extended mile. Was ninth of 10 runners on her return to action at Sligo (1m2½F) last time. Others preferred.
Has not won since June 2017 and hasn't looked close to scoring on his two starts so far this season, including latest when last of 10 runners at Naas (1m). Hard to fancy on recent form.
Dropped right down the weights since gaining an opening handicap mark of 84. Was sixth of 10 runners at Leoparstown (1m2f) last month. Should come on for her return to action last time. One to consider.
Has won twice in his four runs so far in 2019, with his latest success coming at Navan (1m2f) where he prevailed nicely by 4L. Last outing was below his usual best but he can be in mix if he bounces back here.
A C&D winner who has had 57 races in his career so far. He was second here over this distance last time where he was beaten by less than 1L. One of the leading contenders.
Produced a career best last time when scoring at Cork (1m) where he stayed on strongly in the closing stages to suggest he will appreciate this step up in distance. Leading hopes.
Making his return to action after eight months off. Won a 1m4f handicap at Roscommon last year but was well-beaten over this C&D last time. Others preferred.
Was last of 10 runners at Cork (1m2f) last time out on his first run for his new yard in Ireland. Still a maiden after eight races. Hard to make a case for.
Forecasts
Cuban Hope (13/8), Pepperoni Pete (11/4), Castle Guest (6/1), Magnetic North (7/1), Greenpanda (10/1), High Street Lady (12/1), Amlad (20/1), Polly Glide (33/1), Havana Breeze (33/1)
PEPPERONI PETE was impressive when winning last time at Cork and the way he finished the race suggests this distance will be ideal for him, making him the one to beat here. If you can forgive his last run, Cuban Hope has a strong chance, while High Street Lady is now off a mark where she is good enough to score from again.
- Pepperoni Pete
- Cuban Hope
- High Street Lady
