Has progressed back to his previous best for this yard (with Charlie Hills last year) with an AW win and just headed on the line at Goodwood. Back in grade and a leading hope up just 2lb.
Hasn't progressed from last year's debut second and hasn't quite seen her races out in both starts this campaign, without being disgraced. More needed to break her maiden tag.
Progressed in each of her four starts since joining this yard from Ireland although has shown a tendency to hang right under pressure in her 6f Ripon win and latest AW second over this distance. Can be involved with headgear having a clear effect.
Remains a 10-race maiden and appears to have his quirks. Went close on his first two runs back but was poor at Bath last time. Capable but others look more reliable.
Showed little in three quick starts last year but duly left that behind when third at Thirsk on last month's season and handicap debut (winning her group after a split). Wandered late so may benefit for the drop in trip and a leading contender.
Displayed steady improvement in three starts late last year and now makes season debut. On a workable opening mark for handicaps but concern that stable continues to struggle for winners.
Forecasts
Fairy Stories (7/4), Superseded (3/1), Fairy Fast (9/2), Amazing Alba (5/1), Cobweb Catcher (8/1), Swell Song (18/1)
FAIRY STORIES ran an eye-catching race from a very poor draw on her season and handicap debut and looks one to follow back at this distance. Superseded is an obvious danger back in class and remains in fine form. Fairy Fast is also in great heart but needs to concentrate better if she's to kick on again.
