Garswood colt, 15,000 gns yearling. Half-brother to five winners including a 7f Listed winner in Italy. Dam a half-sister to useful middle distance winner Chivalry. Shock 50/1 winner at Newmarket on debut and may come on for that; live chance.
Dark Angel colt, cost 72,000 gns as yearling. Half-brother to two winners and dam a Group 1 winner (1m2f). Improved from a promising debut to bolt up at Ripon earlier this month. Sure to have more to give.
Sir Prancealot colt, cost 45,000 gns as a Breeze-up purchase. Half-brother to 7f winner. Dam a half-sister to winner at 6f/7f. Showed a game attitude to win at Nottingham on debut, though hard to know what the form is worth; should improve anyway.
Shamardal colt, dam a Listed winner and half-sister to a Group performer. Got the better of two subsequent winners on debut at Wolverhampton. Still looked green and went very wide entering the straight, every chance there's more to come here.
War Command colt, cost €31,000 as a yearling. Dam a 7f winner and half-sister to a Listed winning juvenile sprinter. Improved from debut to finish runner-up behind Rayong on debut but may need another significant step forward here.
MISTY GREY won a decent novice event at Ripon in very taking fashion and there's a chance he could be a step ahead of his rivals at this point in the season. Pinatubo got the hang of things late on at Wolverhampton on debut and he has to be considered the main danger. Dancinginthewoods was a shock winner on debut but there looked to be no fluke about that effort and he can make his presence felt again here up in class.
