Won over 7f at Lingfield in November but failed to see out the trip when tried over a mile for the first time in novice stakes at Haydock last month; might just have needed the run but has a bit to prove now. (Well supported last time.)
Won twice on the Fibersand at Southwell since March but has a poor run at Kempton sandwiched in between; up 3lb here and not been so effective on turf before now. Has a bit to find.
Ran well here on his racecourse debut at this course last September but hasn't made much progress since. Well beaten in handicap company last time but been dropped 3lb since. Still has something to find.
Benefited from her debut run to score over 7f at Kempton last December and showed she's trained on with a good effort at Chelmsford last month. Tries a mile for the first time but her dam won over the trip; worth bearing in mind.
Didn't make much progress in a maiden and two novice stakes last year but has been transformed since handicapping. Been well backed when winning her last two starts and has to be considered as a player despite a 4lb higher mark.
Won over 7f at Kempton last October but failed to justify strong support shortly afterwards; also well beaten on his seasonal/handicap debut in this grade at Doncaster latest. More now required.
Kempton winner (7f) last November but well held twice since. Started slowly when tried over a mile last time and never managed to get competitive as a result; improvement required.
A cheap purchase who was well beaten in his first couple of outings. Improved last time but is up in grade and has a bit to prove back over a mile.
Forecasts
Dragon Sun (7/4), Listen To The Wind (3/1), Greek Kodiac (6/1), Carnival Rose (7/1), Sonja Henie (10/1), Love Your Work (14/1), Spencers Son (16/1), Catch My Breath (33/1)
These all have a bit to prove but CARNIVAL ROSE has a progressive profile and is fancied to thrive now she tries her hand over a mile for the first time; Dragon Sun can make this a tough test for the selection while Listen To The Wind is expected to be sharper with her seasonal bow behind her and may have more to offer.
- Carnival Rose
- Dragon Sun
- Listen To The Wind
