Returning from a break when seventh of 12 at Newcastle earlier this month. Should be sharper for the run and has possibilities off 2lb lower in a first-time visor. Stable collected this prize last year.
Last of seven at this venue last time, but was beaten less than 4L. Down 3lb, but may find others more leniently treated.
Well held on all there starts in maiden/novice company. Looks on a stiff enough mark as she makes her debut in handicap company.
First run of the season when respectable sixth of 12 to Betty Grable at Ayr last week. That should have put her straight for this and she has place claims off the same rating.
First run of the season and handicap debut when sixth of 12, beaten 17L, at Wolverhampton last month. Should have benefited from the run, but needs to take a big step forward.
Runner-up on his last two starts on the AW at Wolverhampton and Newcastle. Runs off the same mark back on turf and needs to be taken seriously.
In good heart and made it two wins from three starts this year when landing an apprentice handicap under this jockey at Ayr last week. Escapes a penalty and looks a major player
Maiden who has failed to hit the frame in 12 races. Little encouragement when last seen in the autumn and is best watched on this return to action.
Out of the frame in seven races this year, including when behind Betty Grable at Newcastle. Handicap mark has dropped considerably, but he needs to up his game to take advantage of it.
Not at his best in there starts this year, including last time when he was eighth of 13 at Leicester. Down 3lb, but needs to turn things round.
Maiden after 12 races and has hit the frame only once. Well held over C&D when last seen in September and is hard to make a case for on his return.
Returning from a spell over hurdles when eighth of 12 to Betty Grable at Ayr last week. No obvious reason why he should be able to turn the tables on these terms.

Forecasts
Betty Grable (3/1), Splash Of Verve (5/1), Rosemay (11/2), Spirit Of Sarwan (6/1), Highwayman (7/1), Prancing Oscar (7/1), Broctune Red (12/1), Irish Times (12/1), Jazz Magic (18/1), Rioja Day (25/1), John Caesar (25/1), The Brora Pobbles (33/1), Shamlan (50/1), Newspeak (66/1)
An open handicap at first glance, but it is hard to get away from the claims of BETTY GRABLE, who won an apprentice handicap at Ayr last week and escapes a penalty. Rosemay was sixth in that race, but can do better and may be able to chase home the selection. Others to consider include Prancing Oscar and Splash Of Verve.
- Betty Grable
- Rosemay
- Splash Of Verve
