Had shown promise but still left his first three runs firmly behind when a head second to Agravain on handicap debut over 1m6f at Redcar. Stable remains in very strong form and looks a winner in the making. First-time visor added.
Acclamation filly cost €50,000 as a yearling and a half-sister to four winners. Better effort on second start when upped to 1m2f at Lingfield (AW) and although hampered early was still disappointing at Salisbury this month. Others preferred.
Very well-bred daughter of Kitten's Joy out of a Dubawi mare showed promise when fourth at Pontefract on her second start but disappointing next at Bath on very quick ground. Handicap debut for a leading stable but progress required.
Improved significantly after showing moderate ability in his first five starts for a narrow defeat of Thomas Cubitt over 1m6f at Redcar. Travelled strongly throughout so the shorter trip should be fine and has plenty more to offer under 6lb penalty.
Stayed on nicely at Pontefract on final start as a juvenile over 6f so proved disappointing when stepped up to a mile at Wetherby on his handicap debut and reappearance. Plenty more required.
Out of a 1m4f winning dam but sent off at lengthy odds and failed to make to any sort of impression in three starts this year. Needs to find vast improvement for handicap debut and step up in distance.
Six-race maiden has failed to make any sort of impact in three handicaps so far. Dropped significantly in the weights but still races from 1lb out of the handicap and hard to make any sort of case for.

Thomas Cubitt (4/6), Agravain (3/1), Stone Cougar (6/1), Dear Miriam (12/1), Matilda Bay (12/1), Burnage Boy (20/1), Showshutai (66/1), Parker's Pride (66/1)
AGRAVAIN and Thomas Cubitt finished one-two last start, both showing nice improvement and there should be little between the pair again. The former travelled so well throughout, that although he stayed on well, he could even be better suited by this shorter trip. Stone Cougar should be monitored in the betting on handicap debut.
- Agravain
- Thomas Cubitt
- Stone Cougar
