Useful 94-rated dual Flat winner made a taking hurdling debut when finishing second of 10 beaten 3¾L at Killarney over 2m4f following a 628-day break. Capable of a big run but bounce factor a concern.
Bumper winner in France but has made little immediate impact in a couple of maiden hurdle spins since December. Left with something to prove on the balance of form to hand.
Off the mark for connections at the third time of asking when landing a Thurles bumper in November. Subsequently beaten at Navan when last seen in December and the form of the initial win appears poor. Best watched on hurdling debut.
Experienced hurdler but is without success in 10 starts over timber. Encouraging third of 10 beaten 5L earlier this month at Killarney but liable to find a couple stronger.
Lightly raced Stowaway gelding who appears not to be able to hit the track on a consistent basis. Ran well in defeat following 420-day break when finishing second of eight in a Roscommon maiden earlier this month. Leading claims but has it's dangers
Without success in three maiden hurdles but signs of promise last time when finishing second of nine beaten 4¾L here over 2m5½f earlier this month. Progressive step would be getting off the mark here.
Gelding by Balko out of a Lesotho mare. Ran well to finish fifth of 10 beaten over 19L on maiden hurdle debut at Killarney recently. More needed in this company.
Well held in a couple of dismal bumper efforts at Clonmel and Cork in recent months, beaten 58L on his latest start. First time hood unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Appeared of average ability in a number of point-to-point starts and has produced only laboured runs in three starts over timber, sent off at 100/1 on his last couple of starts.
Point-to-point winner previously but has been pulled up on both bumper starts at Punchestown and Roscommon this month. Likely more to come representing respected trainer and jockey combination.
Scorpion gelding sending out mixed signals in five fruitless maiden hurdle starts since February. Good chance handicaps will suit on the back of this.
Winner of a couple of point-to-point starts in November and finished second of nine in a Naas novice hurdle in February, but overall form over timber leaves a little to be desired. Tongue-tie on for first-time.
Nothing in the way of messages of hope in a desolate summer jumping campaign last year. Seven-race maiden and no signs of light at the end of the tunnel just yet.
Second Reserve: Mahler mare, pulled up on debut in a Limerick maiden hurdle on heavy ground and again at Sligo last month.
Third Reserve: Lecroix gelding out of a Presenting mare. Good second in a Boulta point-to-point in December but unsold after for £34,000. Fell at the second on maiden hurdle debut at Clonmel earlier this month. Too early to dismiss.

CASTLE NORTH can land the spoils for the trainer/jockey combination of Willie Mullins and Paul Townend with the Stowaway gelding getting off the mark at the fourth time of asking for connections. The seven-year-old can possibly find a number of holes in the form of his biggest dangers, Abyssinian from the Joseph O'Brien yard and the Gigginstown House Stud-owned, Warlike Intent.
