Bounced back from a rare poor run when winning by a head from Mossy's Lodge over 1m1½f at Wolverhampton last time, and this course winner is just 1lb higher, so isn't taken lightly.
Three good runs this season include two wins, with the latter over C&D. Bounced back from a lesser effort when an unlucky ½L second of 15 to Briardale at Haydock last time, and leading claims again.
In the frame three times this year, most recently when 3¼L third of 8 to Music Seeker (runs 4:45 here) at Nottingham last time. Down in class here, and one to bear in mind.
Won at Newcastle last spring, and on a good mark based on that effort, but has become disappointing, and was well beaten at that track on his reappearance. Something to prove now.
Runner-up over 1½m at Catterick in August and matched that effort over 1¾m here on his final outing last year. This trip is on the sharp side, and he's entitled to be rusty after an absence.
Inconsistent sort who is fairly treated on balance, but followed a mildly encouraging return by finishing last of 9 at Beverley last time. Blinkers fitted now, and he looks a risky proposition.
Placed off 4lb higher at Musselburgh last June, but lesser efforts in two starts since, and tailed off when last seen for Mike Sowersby. Tongue tied on debut for new yard now, and market will be useful.
Ran poorly on both turf starts last year for Colin Teague, but better signs for new yard when fourth of 12 to Kodi Koh at Newcastle last time, and possible she will prove a different proposition now having fallen to a lowly mark.
Running well on AW this year, and has finished second in handicaps at Wolverhampton and Newcastle on last two starts. Turf form was unconvincing when last tried, though, and hard to be confident now.
Victorious in first-time blinkers at Wolverhampton in 2017, but off for a long time after that, and has not recaptured that form in a handful of runs this season without that headgear. Blinkers back on now, but others preferred.
Can start slowly, and remains a maiden, without as much as a place to her name in handicaps. Easy to oppose from out of the handicap.
Well beaten in bumpers and in three qualifying runs in this sphere, so hard to make a case for him now handicapping, even at this modest level.
Yet to finish closer than 22L behind the winner in varied company, and looks very limited at this stage.

Mr Coco Bean (6/5), Mr Carbonator (11/2), Red Seeker (6/1), Mont Royal (11/1), King Of Naples (12/1), Splash Of Verve (16/1), Shakiah (20/1), Rock Island Line (20/1), Dutch Coed (20/1), Odds On Oli (22/1), Sulafaat (33/1), Midnight Warrior (33/1), Kissesforeveryone (100/1), Geneva Trumpet (100/1)
His wide draw isn't ideal, but there is plenty of dead wood here, and MR COCO BEAN is running really well in better races than this, so is hard to oppose. Mr Carbonator and King of Naples are obvious dangers on recent evidence, while the likes of Sulafaat and Red Seeker could be revived by recent stable moves, the former particularly interesting after takeing a step in the right direction last time.
- Mr Coco Bean
- Sulafaat
- Mr Carbonator
