Was a spirited winner on debut at Wolverhampton in March and also went down fighting on turf debut at Yarmouth last month; the experience over the trip will help even though the penalty makes life tougher on this occasion.

Shown plenty of ability in both previous starts and has only been beaten by potentially useful types. Has a Royal Ascot entry and comes here rather than going to Sandown later in the week. Has to be considered.

Showed a stack of promise when second on debut at Nottingham earlier in the month and can be a threat to all if taking a step forward. has to be on the shortlist.
Beaten by an unexposed rival from the John Gosden yard last time but did show improvement from his debut run. Another step forward is required here though.

Debut run wasn't devoid of promise but latest start was a step back; big improvement needed but does qualify for a mark after this and may do better in handicaps in the future.

Forecasts

Cape Cavalli (13/8), Dubai Falcon (15/8), High Commissioner (7/2), Questionare (11/2), Oydis (66/1)

Verdict

A penalty makes things tough for Questionare but the colt has shown a willingness to battle and his attitude might be the critical factor when push comes to shove. However, giving weight to CAPE CAVALLI might prove to be a stiff test at this stage and it's Simon Chrisford's colt, who holds a Group 2 entry at Royal Ascot, who gets the nod as the one to side with this time around. Dubai Falcon showed he's learning with a solid effort at Nottingham last time and he too has to merit a check in the betting.
