Dark Angel filly; cost 110,000gns earlier this year; beaten just over 4L on Ascot debut (11/4) when finishing fifth of seven to Expressionist; no real surprise if he builds positively upon that opening effort.
€22,000 yearling who like his stablemate The New Marwan carries the Koukash silks; 33/1 when poorly drawn and never involved on debut over 5f here (soft) earlier this month.
£20,000 yearling, and the most experienced of the six declared runners; runner-up, alas no match for Full Authority over 5f here (soft) earlier this month, finishing in front of today's rivals The New Marwan (6th) and G For Gabrial (9th).
42,000gns yearling; 3/1, but things didn't really go his way on debut over 5f here (soft) when finishing sixth of ten to Full Authority (stablemate G For Gabriel behind); could fare better with more luck and a reasonable draw today.
£12,000 vendor yearling; fifth foal who is bred for stamina as a half-brother to the 1m3f Italian winner Razzia D'Arcadia and the 2m1f French hurdler Red Hero; carries the Michael Owen Racing Club silks; stablemate of It's Been Noted.
Slade Power filly; half-sister to three winners including Town Charter (6f-1m1f+); showed blistering early pace when finishing 1¾L second to Daahyeh on debut at Newmarket (6f, good) last weekend; has the plum draw (stall 1); sets the benchmark.
Forecasts
Raffle Prize (8/13), Endowed (3/1), It's Been Noted (8/1), The New Marwan (10/1), We Owen A Dragon (14/1), G For Gabrial (25/1)
The regular Chester faces are represented by Dr Marwan Koukash (two runners) and the former Premier League footballer Michael Owen (We Owen A Dragon). The latter named's stablemate It's Been Noted finished in front of both The New Marwan and G For Gabrial over 5f here earlier in the month, albeit the ground conditions will be riding plenty quicker today. However, from the plum draw in stall 1, the clear standard-setter RAFFLE PRIZE is strongly fancied to jump out well and make all in the hands of Silvestre De Sousa.
