Improved in 2018 eventually winning four races during a busy campaign including two in better company. Signalled a return to form at York last week when stepped up to this trip and will be hard to beat despite topweight.
Both victories have been gained on AW and he was tailed off on his only two turf outings. Well handicapped in comparison to his AW mark but still has a bit to prove.
3-11 turf record on the Flat but his last win was in a poor class 6 event and he is 6lb higher. Has had wind surgery following a poor display over hurdles last month and is probably best watched at present.
Showed his only worthwhile form for this yard when landing a poor race at Lingfield off today's mark. Has barely beaten a rival since and cheekpieces are applied.
Dual C&D winner who is still paying the price for scoring by 6L here last July. All his UK wins have been in Class 6 company, but this has to be considered a poor race for the grade.
Still to make the frame in ten starts under both codes. Blinkers tried this time but hard to see that being enough.

WINGED SPUR is hard to oppose having run so well in better company at York last week and with the opposition having so many questions to answer. Charlie D is a threat based on his AW form but he is yet to prove he is anywhere near as effective on turf. Mouchee is inconsistent and General Brook may be a bigger threat given his track record, although he can hardly be considered well-handicapped.
