Has managed to win at least one race a year throughout his career and it did not take long for him to open his account in 2019 when dead-heating here off a 2lb higher mark. Yet to win beyond 6f and has a tough draw to overcome.
Has won her two of her last three over C&D and beaten in a photo finish for the other off today's mark. Beaten since at Chelmsford but nicely drawn for her return here with the champion rider on board.
Has not been easy to train since a promising juvenile campaign. Penultimate effort looks flattering as she was never competitive and she was weak in the market last time when unseating her rider at the start. Probably best watched for now.
Returned from a break with a poor effort when last of twelve at Wolverhampton and has been off another 156 days since. Well handicapped on his best form.
Triple C&D winner failed by just a short-head to get back on the board at Chelmsford a month ago. Just 1lb above his last winning mark and a good run at Thirsk 18 days ago from a wide draw confirms his wellbeing.
His last two victories have come under today's rider including a course success in March. Comfortably held both starts since and yet to win over this trip.
Landed three races here in 2018. Behind Little Palaver here in January and reopposes on worse terms. Off since a narrow defeat here in February and not ideally drawn for one who can be inclined to take a keen hold.
1-5 over C&D and beaten in photo finishes on two other occasions off similar marks to today's. Not ideally drawn and comeback run far from ideal so may be worth tracking until promising more.
All four wins have come in Class 6 events and he has been unplaced on two previous visits here. Arrives on the back of a poor debut for new yard and so others have stronger claims.
Has improved for the switch to positive tactics and a drop to 7f. Ideally drawn to bounce back from a poor effort last time when the track may have been to blame, but he is meeting better opposition here.
Maiden who was cheaply bought from Richard Hannon's stable and showed nothing on first two runs for new yard. Hard to make a case for.
Forecasts
Chloellie (2/1), Coverham (5/2), Miracle Garden (13/2), Little Palaver (8/1), My Town Chicago (9/1), Garth Rockett (10/1), Soar Above (12/1), Angel Islington (12/1), Bounty Pursuit (33/1), Reshaan (66/1), Dutiful Son (66/1)
The draw here favours C&D specialists Chloellie and COVERHAM. Both are attractively weighted and they will get a nice tow from the front runner My Town Chicago. The former has the advantage of the champion jockey being on board, but the selection arrives on the back of a more solid run last time and that just earns him the vote. A case can be made for Bounty Pursuit who is another to go well here, but the remainder have problems to overcome.
- Coverham
- Chloellie
- Bounty Pursuit
