Starspangledbanner newcomer; 11th foal; half-brother to winners Arya Tara (11.7f-1m6f inc Listed), Thomas O'Malley (1m2f turf/10.6f AW) & Anadara (French 1m5f). Surely want further than this with time but respected from top yard.

€8,000 yearling (€6,500 vendor yearling); 9th foal; half-brother to winners Sharp And Smart (7.4f-1m) and Odelouca (6f AW 2yo). Other newcomers appeal more on pedigree and stable two-year-old record.
Zebedee newcomer; sixth foal; half-brother to winners Longfield Lad (6f AW inc at 2), Richard Parker (7f-1m Italy) and Nice Fellow (German 1m). Probably best watched here barring market support.

Newcomer by Dark Angel; sixth foal; half-brother to winners Sudirman (6f 2yo inc Group 1) and Rayyan (French 1m), dam 5f-1m winner (inc GB 2yo/Us stakes). Fast pedigree for top yard so looks a very likely sort.

Gelding by Heeraat has the benefit of experience having raced twice at Dundalk although a debut third of five and subsequent fifth of six there mean he is likely to struggle here.

Newcomer by American Pharaoh; $300,000 Y; 10th foal; half-brother to five winners inc Acapulco (5f-6f inc Group 2 2yo) and Prenuptial (US 6f 2yo stakes); dam US 5f-6f 2yo stakes winner. Bred to be fast and highly respected.

Finsceal Fior newcomer; eighth foal; half-brother to winners Marcus Caesar (7f) and Fit For Fun (Italian 6f/7f); dam 1m/9.4f winner. Stable also run Impossiblecometrue so market can guide as to merits.

Newcomer by Invincible Spirit; €195,000 F; 5th foal; half-sister to winners Painted Cliffs (6f 2yo inc Gr 2), Procurator (7f inc 2yo) & Rockaroundtheclock (5.5f-1m inc GB 2yo/AW/Fr/Italy). Speedily bred and from top yard so merits respect here.

Cheap purchase by Born To Sea out of a 7f/1m winner was slow into stride on debut at Tipperary four weeks ago and eventually last of eight. Should do better for the experience now but hard to fancy.

Filly by Kodiac ran with promise on debut at Navan last month when fourth of 12 having led 1f out over this trip. That form the best of the trio who have run but jockey booking suggests Eriking may be stable first string.

Forecasts

South Saqqara (3/1), Tinkerbells Effect (10/3), Mount Fuji (5/1), Invincible Diva (5/1), Fool Proof (5/1), Erlking (14/1), Principalship (33/1), True Commitment (33/1), Impossiblecometrue (33/1), Rolling Wave (50/1)

Verdict

Those with race form haven't achieved enough to merit support so newcomers look the order of the day here. Ballydoyle duo MOUNT FUJI and South Saqqara unsurprisingly have very appealing pedigrees, Seamie Heffernan is aboard the first so he is presumed the better prospect on home work and gets the vote. Invincible Diva looks the most likely to upset the Ballydoyle applecart for Jessie Harrington.
  1. Mount Fuji
  2. Invincible Diva
  3. South Saqqara
