Fair maiden who has already had three handicap attempts (just one this year) running poorly on his comeback run this season. May well be better suited by returning to turf (best runs on that surface) dropping to this 0-60 level for the first time.
Looked the sort for handicaps and ran well on her debut in this sphere on the AW over today's trip. Twice disappointed since that run running especially poorly returned to maiden company last time; first-time blinkers need to work the oracle.
Kept to the AW over the winter at up to 1m having made her handicap debut back in October (also on AW); below form here over7f straight after that initial run. Well below form latest start; now tongue-tied for the first-time back at 6f on turf.
Regressed rather than progressed in her maiden/novice starts last year at up to 7f and didn't do much better on her handicap debut at Chepstow (first-time hood, 7f). Easy to back she raced freely (saddle slipped); finished well beaten, best watched.
Qualifying runs came over three different trips with the final start not showing him in the best light at all (raced too free; left poorly placed). Enters handicaps for the first time back at 6f tackling turf for the first time; note a market move.
Modest handicapper on the AW (little form on turf); given a chance by the handicapper last time over 7f AW (no headgear), finished runner-up. Reverts to the distance of her only win but her turf record leaves a lot to be desired.
Brought along gradually with handicaps in mind and showed more than previously when making her debut in that discipline on the AW (7f). On the basis of that run looks capable of more; drops to 6f for the first time off a workable mark; shortlisted.
First run for this yard whose form so far is underwhelming in handicaps although this will be his first try on turf in this discipline. Failed to see his race out over 6f last time (Fibresand); cheekpieces now tried, others persuade more.
Looks an unconvincing sort (can be awkward at the stalls) although her last run can be ignored (saddle slipped; first turf run). Mark already reducing in handicaps with little effect; hard to be confident given her likely temperament issues.
0-10 so far with six of those defeats coming in handicaps (now slipped to a lowly mark). Ran one of his better races last time (second at Redcar) having shown limited ability the time before; deserves consideration in this weak affair.
Two outings so far for this yard (previously with Adrian Keatley) with the latest start being her handicap debut. Always behind over 6f at Chelmsford she looks one with little going for her and can't be recommended in this.
