Plunged into odds-on favourite on debut here 11 months ago but weakened into fourth of 17. That form would give him a chance here and obviously thought capable of better. Highly respected.

Stowaway gelding bought showed fair form in two point-to-points but likely will need a greater test of stamina than this.
Gelding by Touch Of Land out of a Beneficial mare. Poor form in a couple of point-to-point starts and 10th of 20 here latest. Jockey booking however highly notable and makes him worth a second look.

Lauro gelding, cost £33,000 as a three-year-old and sold for £410,000 after an impressive win in a point-to-point in February. Half-brother to bumper/maiden hurdle winner over 3m. Top amateur booked and has to be of interest on debut.
Gelding by Duke Of Marmalade out of a Bering mare. Closely related to winners over 1m, Betrothed and St Paul De Vence, successful on the AW as a two-year-old. Probably best watched on debut.
Fame And Glory newcomer out of bumper/2m4f hurdle winner Oscars Joy. Trainer can unearth the odd bumper winner so market check is advised.
Getaway newcomer; €21,000 3yo; sixth foal; half-brother to 2m3f hurdle/3m chase winner Guiding George and point winner An Siltean. Looks stoutly bred so likely find this sharp enough.
Gelding by Saddex out of a Cadoudal mare. Cost €40,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to a couple of winners in France. Possibly a long term prospect following a 67L defeat on debut in a Navan bumper in March.
Improved on a couple of poor efforts to finish second of nine beaten 7L in a Fairyhouse bumper in February but was pulled-up next when toiling at Wexford. Fairyhouse form merits respect if back on song.
By Doyen out of a Flying Legend mare she appealed as a long term prospect when ninth of 16 at Ballinrobe last month so is best watched here.

Shantou newcomer; second reported foal; dam unraced sister to 2m-2m4f hurdle winner Cashel Dancer, half-sister to 1m2f Listed winner Dance Partner. Market may guide as to expectations.

Cost €5,000 as a three-year-old but ran pretty well on debut at Fairyhouse leading until 2f out before eventually finishing seventh of 22. Wouldn't have to improve greatly to make the frame here.

Forecasts

Argent Et Or (1/1), Dlauro (2/1), Judex Lefou (9/1), Oscars Fame (14/1), Art Of The Deal (14/1), The Rubinator (16/1), Chief Of Police (16/1), Ballymacaw (33/1), Lough Sewdy (33/1), Raheen Peir (40/1), Saol Iontach (40/1), Above The City (50/1), Saddette (50/1)

Verdict

DLAURO falls into the could be anything category after hacking up in his lone point before selling for an eye-watering fee, he is worth chancing on Rules debut. The danger could be Argent Et Or who was heavily backed on his lone previous start which presumably pointed to him being held in very high regard. These two stand out but Judex Lefou may well prove best of the rest after The Rubinator flopped last time out.
  1. Dlauro
  2. Argent Et Or
  3. Judex Lefou
