Returning to the Flat when finishing 1L second in a handicap over this C&D last month. Races off a 1lb higher mark here and is a leading contender in this contest.
Good third in a C&D contest early last month. Fair effort over an extended 1m4f at Newcastle subsequently and interesting to see how he fares.
C&D winner beaten 7L when finishing fifth in a 15 runner 1m4f handicap at Thirsk (good) a fortnight ago. Probably best watched racing off his 6lb higher AW mark.
C&D winner wore blinkers (retained since) for the first time when winning over this trip at Lingfield on his penultimate start. Good effort when fifth here subsequently and is one to note with a promising apprentice in the saddle.
Dual winner including over this C&D in January. Ran better than the bare result suggests when seventh of eight over this trip at Kempton last time out. Interesting following a break.
Twice a winner on turf and finished third over 1m6f here in January. Struggled in an amateur riders event at Doncaster (1m4f, good) on only subsequent start and tongue tie tried for the first time.
Beaten 24L in a handicap hurdle at Worcester (2m4f, good) in August last year on most recent start. Previously well held third at Windsor (good-to-firm) and probably best watched on seasonal debut.
Successful in a 1m2f handicap at Lingfield two months ago. Decent efforts in defeat in two subsequent outings but step up in distance not certain to suit.
Placed four times in maiden company in Ireland but well held in two handicaps since joining this stable. Drop in trip looks likely to suit and market support would be notable on this occasion.
Victorious by a neck over this trip at Lingfield in December. Well held in cheekpieces (absent here) at Kempton the following month on only subsequent start.
C&D winner finished a decent fourth in a 1m6f handicap at this venue in March. Well beaten on both subsequent outings however and needs to return to form to figure in this event.
Winner over C&D in January and finished a good fourth over an extended 1m4f at Newcastle in February. Disappointed next time however and more needed on debut for this yard.
Forecasts
Dream Magic (3/1), Lost History (11/2), Enmeshing (7/1), Star Ascending (8/1), Sir Gnet (8/1), Thawry (8/1), Taurean Dancer (9/1), Ice Canyon (11/1), Tetradrachm (16/1), Punkawallah (40/1), Black Noah (40/1), Joycetick (50/1)
Top weight LOST HISTORY can register a victory in this middle-distance handicap. The selection ran well on his return to the Flat last time out and he can see off Dream Magic who was a winner at Lingfield on his penultimate start and has a useful apprentice booked to ride. Third place can go to Ice Canyon who is making his return from a break.
