Ran right up to best on first run since joining this yard for £3,000 when narrowly beaten at Taunton last month. A repeat of that would make him hard to beat as this looks a slightly weaker contest.
Won over hurdles last summer and returns to them having run poorly over the larger obstacles last time when he may have needed the run. If coming for that , he would be a contender.
Has shown next to nothing in three runs over hurdles though did hint at ability in the second of his bumpers. Starts handicapping off what looks a high mark.
Won this off 5lb higher mark a year ago and followed up the next month. Has gone off the boil since but stable in good form and no surprise should he bounce back here.
Would have finished second to a much improved novice but for falling at the last at Fontwell in March but disappointed subsequent run and now taking a step up in trip.
Took this race in 2017 but missed large piece of time since and although running with credit on penultimate start, backward step last time so bit to prove for now.
Plenty of wins over hurdles in the past but losing run continues to build up and hard to see him turn things around on recent form at his age.
Beaten 40L when third over 2m4f here last time but the winner has gone in again since and he has had fewer runs than his rivals here could in theory improve for a yard having a decent run of things.
Not often seen over hurdles these days and now starting off for new yard, though good claimer up so worth noting in market.
Poor maiden but at least showed something when stepping up to this trip for the first time on latest. Like on that occasion, appears to be second choice on jockey bookings for the stable.
5L behind Marocchino last time and that form doesn't look quite good enough running from out of the weights again.
