Likeable and consistent dual performer who returns fit from some fine form over the jumps. Winner at Chester to sign off last season's Flat campaign off 3lb lower in a tougher grade. Suited by these conditions and likely to go close.
Gained a third career win when successful over this distance at Pontefract at the beginning of the month in quicker conditions. Won on soft here as a juvenile and arguably better suited by give so should go well again off 5lb higher.
Debut winner over 6f at Newbury on sole juvenile start but couldn't add to that in six runs as a three-year-old. Stable and season debut after leaving Richard Hannon and needs to leave some regressive form behind.
Three wins from 18 starts on turf on the Flat and returns fit from hurdling off a high mark at 8lb higher than the last success on his final Flat start last year. Conditions don't pose an issue though and could be competitive.
Winner of two of his first four races but has really struggled in his next four. Tough ask in Doncaster's Spring Mile on his reappearance and handicapper has given him a chance with a drop of 5lb. First-time blinkers and hard to be confident in.
Useful sprint handicapper at his best but has become a rather frustrating sort. Went close at Chelmsford in January but three AW runs since were poor and still has to prove himself at this distance. Others preferred.
Successful for David Evans in a heavy ground Ffos Las novice stakes back in 2017 and lightly raced since. Lost his way last year and never got involved over 7f on stable and season debut. Remains best watched over this far.
Showed the right spirit to hang on after making all at Beverley last month to breakthrough on start number eight. Has handled soft ground previously but best form on a quick surface. Still open to more improvement though off just 3lb more.
On fourth trainer now, having previously raced for Brian Ellison. Came back from 21-month absence to shape quite promisingly at Doncaster at the end of March but was very disappointing next time on the AW. Questions to answer in a tougher race.
Forecasts
Regular Income (15/8), Glacier Fox (4/1), Kadrizzi (8/1), Snookered (8/1), Miss Ranger (9/1), Cornborough (10/1), Orange Suit (12/1), Yorbelucky (14/1), Fake News (20/1)
CORNBOROUGH has his conditions, was a winner when last seen on the Flat and has been thriving over jumps in the winter. Regular Income heads here off the back of a win for an in-form yard and should go close while Glacier Fox is open to more improvement than his rivals and should make a bold bid.
