No sign of ability and impossible to make a case for on all evidence.
Some good efforts in 2017 but had a lay off after and although he ran well on the AW at Dundalk, hurdling return not so good and need to improve for the first time visor.
Hasn't really built on promise he showed in mid winter and has to prove he stays this far.
Some ability on debut but backward step only run since and needs to improve for the step up to 3m.
Just the two runs over hurdles but his second in big field at Leopardstown over Christmas is the best form on offer. That was over 2m4f but was staying on as though this longer trip will suit and should come for his run in a Bumper last week.
Easy win in last of his three Point-to-points and off the mark at first try in recent 2m3f Bumper when showing good attitude. This longer trip on hurdling debut a big help and sure to play a part.
No form to speak of and step up to 3m today will need to bring about a lot of improvement.
Showed plenty of improvement for the step up to 3m on latest and with just the two runs under his belt there really should be more to come.
Excuses last two runs as ground too soft on penultimate start and in too deep latest. Plenty of form prior to that in this sort of grade and one to be taken seriously.
Showed very little in trio of bumpers and then hurdling debut and easy to look elsewhere.
Two Point-to-point wins at the turn of the year and not surprisingly found 2m1f too sharp when running in a Bumper at Exeter last month. This trip on hurdling debut much more to his liking and market should be revealing.
Forecasts
Macgiloney (7/4), Foxy Jacks (9/4), Jack Hackett (9/2), Lessofdnegativity (8/1), Baily Gorse (16/1), Asbury Boss (22/1), Dromline (25/1), Woodbrook Boy (25/1), Antigua Son (100/1), Justcall'm John (100/1), Scanimax (125/1)
FOXY JACKS should strip fitter for run in a Bumper last week and his second over Christmas shows him in a good light in this grade. Jack Hackett is a very interesting debutant over timber and along with Woodbrook Boy can chase the selection home.
