Turned over at short odds at Newcastle (7f) in November, which is a rare occurrence for a Gosden-trained runner in the North East; clear career best when winning a Boxing Day nursery at Wolverhampton (1m+); 8lb higher.

Off the mark at the first-time of asking in handicap company when beating the subsequent Doncaster winner Archaeology (the re-opposing Gallic third) by ¾L at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) last month; 7lb higher.

Sold for €175,000 after finishing second on debut at Chantilly (7f, good); mixed messages since, strongest when taking a 1m Sandown novice (good) by ¾L from Damon Runyon; well held on both attempts at 1m2f.

Kodiac colt (€110,000 yearling); an opening mark of 80 looks to be justifiable; beaten approximately 6L when finishing sixth of 14 to Far Above in the Alex Scott Maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to firm).

€66,000 juvenile; has acquitted himself reasonably well on all three starts; demonstrated plenty of pace (weakened late on) when finishing 4¾L third to the winning newcomer Fox Chairman at Newbury (1m, good to soft) latest.

Strongest when allowed an uncontested lead; had exactly that when upping her game markedly to score by 8L on turf debut at Nottingham (1m+, good to soft) last week; due a 13lb rise, so 7lb 'well-in' under her 6lb penalty.

Forecasts

I'm Available (7/4), Aweedram (3/1), King Ademar (4/1), Just The Man (5/1), Fightwithme (5/1), Gallic (13/2), Flying Dragon (11/1), Greek Kodiac (14/1)

Verdict

A smashing contest, with all eight of the declared runners capable of winning races (or more races). I'm Available will be popular under a 6lb penalty (7lb 'well-in') for last week's Nottingham romp, but it's worth noting that both of her wins have come when granted a relatively uncontested lead, so perhaps the opposing riders will now be more readily aware of that fact. Both Fightwithme and Aweedram are progressive and arrive as last time out winners, but in an open race we'll chance the Dante-entrant KING ADEMAR, with his Nottingham novice form handsomely franked by the shock 66/1 2000 Guineas runner up King Of Change.
