Blueprint half-brother to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Mizen Raven. Well beaten in a point-to-point, a bumper and on hurdles debut at Perth, so not much for punters to pin their hopes on.
From a fairly productive French family, but has only beaten one rival in two starts over hurdles so far, and looks limited on early evidence.
By Network out of a French bumper winner, and cost £30,000 last year, but has nothing to show for it in two runs to date, failing to beat another rival. Hooded now, but plenty to prove.
No closer than fourth in the point-to-point field, and soundly beaten on all three starts over hurdles. Tongue tied last time, and has reportedly had a breathing operation since.
Useful at around 1½m on the Flat, and although not at that standard as yet over hurdles, he's shown enough to think he should have an outstanding chance in this company.
Placed in a bumper here, and stepped up on form of hurdling debut when third of 11 to Nelson Road in a 2m4½f novice at Newcastle last time. Solid place claims in what looks a weaker race.
Won an Irish point at the fourth attempt in October and changed hands for £30,000 shortly after. Scored on bumper debut at Sedgefield, and set a stiff task in Grade 2 at Aintree last time. Respected on hurdles bow.
Placed twice from five starts in point-to-points, and better effort over hurdles when 22½L seventh of 12 to Glinger Flame in novice at Hexham last time. Plenty more required.
Ought to be competitive on his fairly useful Flat form at up to 2m, but has shown worryingly little in headgear over hurdles. Visor replaced cheekpieces now, but he is hard to warm to.
Won a 1¼m handicap on quick ground for Peter Chapple Hyam last year, and joined current yard for 32,000 gns in October. Ought to be able to make his mark over hurdles, and market will guide on debut.
Related to winners, and has shown a fair level of form in bumpers, finishing in the frame twice from four starts. Needs to improve a bit for switch to hurdles, but can't be ruled out.
Best effort in Flat maidens for Michael O'Callaghan when third in the mud at Galway (1½m) in August. Disappointing twice since, but not ruled out if she takes to hurdles after a break.

MAGELLAN has much the best form of those with hurdling experience, which isn't saying a great deal, but he's open to improvement considering his useful Flat form, and is preferred to hurdling debutants Onthefrontfoot and Blooriedotcom. Metro Boulot Dodo also has place claims.
