Won Class 2 handicaps here and at Redcar off marks of 90 and 92. Looks ready to be more competitive than he has been so far this season and he is 3-11 (placed another five times) in this grade.
Won three of her first four before coming unstuck in Listed company on her latest start. Proven to go well when fresh but still needs to prove she is up to her current mark.
Has won four of his 16 starts so clearly does not stand much racing and needs to make hay whilst the sun shines. Backed at big odds for the Spring Cup when noted staying on for fourth and Masham Star was well behind. Looks the one to beat.
Appeared to be going places when last seen in 2017. Suited to fast ground so concerns conditions may not be quick enough and he needs a career best.
Sole win came at Chelmsford and he narrowly failed there on his stable debut 12 days ago. Likely to get a better gallop here to aim at, which is a positive, and he has run to form on turf.
Won four races in 2018 and was second in three others including the London Mile Final. Yet to score in this grade though and mark looks marginally high.
Both wins have come on AW and he has been well below his best on last two starts. Probably has too much to prove at present.
Winner of a valuable sales race as a juvenile who just added a Class 4 handicap to her record last year. Ran some good races in defeat against better opponents, but best efforts have come over 6f-7f.
Forecasts
Greenside (11/8), Lush Life (7/2), Masham Star (6/1), Corazon Espinado (7/1), Top Mission (7/1), Elysium Dream (20/1), I'vegotthepower (20/1), Jellmood (25/1)
GREENSIDE failed to win in 2018 but as a consequence he is 4lb below his last winning mark and connections were right to expect a big run in the Spring Cup when he finished well to take fourth. He had Masham Star well adrift that day although the Middleham runner should do better with this new mark and better ground. Top Mission went close on his stable debut and he'll be better suited by the stronger pace that seems likely here. Lush Life is highly regarded and would be dangerous if proving as good as connections think, whilst Corazon Espinado is a reliable sort but one who seems less well-handicapped than others.
- Greenside
- Top Mission
- Masham Star
