Decent hurdler who was returning to chasing when well held at Fairyhouse on latest start. Down 2lb and looks to have something to find.
Had Slowmotion in arrears when good third at Fairyhouse. Should confirm the form and has a solid chance.
Early faller in the Fairyhouse chase in which stable companion Barra was third and Slowmotion fourth. Not in the best of form and is readily opposed.
Caused a minor surprise when accounting for the odds-on Killultagh Vic at Cork last time. Every chance if able to reproduce that level of form.
Clear-cut winner of a Grade 2 novice chase at Limerick in March. Handicapper has put her up 7lb, but she is progressive and goes on the short list
Third runner from her top stable and looked in good heart when landing a novice chase at Fairyhouse on her latest start. Up 9lb, which makes this a much tougher task.
Well held in Ulster National on latest start. Has not won for quite a long time so others look safer propositions.
Some way below her best when soundly beaten at Wexford last month. Down 1lb, but needs to show much more.
First run for this yard after leaving John Nicholson's stable when running creditably in a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse. May do better back over fences.
Not at her absolute best over fences and hurdles last summer. First run for quite a long time and may be better for the race.
English challenger who shaped well when third at Newbury last time. Prospects off 4lb lower mark, but remains a maiden over fences.
Debut for this yard after leaving Stuart Crawford's stable when finishing in mid-division at Limerick last month. More needed off 1lb lower mark.
Off the mark at the third attempt over fences when scoring by a wide margin at Kilbeggan. Left in lead at the last that day so was slightly flattered, but that was a fair effort and she enters calculations.
Runner-up on last three starts over fences so she deserves a change of luck. Handicap debut over fences and does not look badly treated.
Back to winning ways at Limerick last month but, despite a 6lb rise, competes from 3lb put of the handicap which makes life difficult.
Forecasts
Ask Susan (2/1), Moyhenna (5/1), Gracemount (13/2), Timeforwest (7/1), Barra (7/1), Ellie Mac (14/1), Mill Quest (16/1), Slowmotion (16/1), Carnspindle (20/1), Grey Waters (20/1), Synopsis (25/1), Teacher's Pet (25/1), Simple Steps (33/1), Elusive Theatre (50/1), Miss Sassie (66/1)
Gordon Elliott has a strong hand with three runners and the best of them may be Barra. However, the votes goes to GRACEMOUNT, who was gifted victory last time, but probably would have won in any case had her main rival not fallen at the last. Timeforwest, Moyhenna and Ask Susan look dangerous in a wide-open contest.
- Gracemount
- Ask Susan
- Barra
