Won off this mark at Lingfield in February but tailed off in three runs since. Gets a welcome drop in grade. Questions to answer at present.
Debut for third trainer but still 3lb higher than sole win when with Richard Hannon. Out of form when last seen over hurdles and best watched. Stable also runs Frame Rate.
Mainly campaigned over hurdles for new yard which includes a success. Disappointing latest and market likely best guide on this return to the Flat.
On a long losing streak dating back to 2016 despite being 20lb below last winning mark. Fit from some decent hurdles runs but needs to find plenty from latest return to the Flat.
Has struggled to make any sort of impression in five starts to date including when a tailed-off last on return following wind surgery. Easy to dismiss.
Yet to add to maiden win and has proved regressive since. Plenty to find from new stable debut in February.
Yet to win for current stable but currently on sole winning mark. Back to form over 1m4.5f here latest and suited by step back up to winning trip. Leading contender in a weak race.
13-race maiden was sent off favourite after a gamble on debut for new yard. Disappointed when hanging but interesting to see if money comes again.
Still a maiden after 22 start but off a very reduced mark at present. Suited by step up in trip and place possibilities on return but improvement required for a breakthrough win.
Just two wins from 40 starts on the turf/Flat. Both wins came at Catterick in 2015 and 2016 and while not disgraced on second start for new yard, needs to find plenty.
Yet to show any ability or glimmer of promise in 13 races under all codes. Very hard to make any sort of case for on season debut.
Forecasts
Dew Pond (4/1), Galitello (5/1), Frame Rate (6/1), About Glory (6/1), Elite Icon (15/2), Enemy Of The State (15/2), Palermo (10/1), Torch (14/1), Fillydelphia (16/1), Eyreborn (20/1), Wise Coco (66/1)
A very weak race represents a very good opportunity for ELITE ICON over a distance that suits. Enemy Of The State has presumably been showing more at home prior to the latest gamble while Eyreborn can chase them home.
- Elite Icon
- Enemy Of The State
- Eyreborn
