Lost his way last year but returned with a much better effort and every chance now off this current mark and down in grade. Leading contender from a good draw.
Veteran on a losing streak stretching back to May 2017 and not the force of old. Not disgraced though on return and better in the past with a run behind him.
In good form on the AW and returns to the turf off a 15lb lower mark. Needs to find improvement though on previous turf form.
Not especially well handicapped at present but returned with a good sixth in a strong contest at Pontefract. Well drawn and down in class.
Losing run continues to build despite dropping to a very good mark. Ran creditably at Kempton latest and drawn to go well. Can be involved.
Has dropped to a low mark but ran out of form in his last three runs last year and no better on return. Others look stronger candidates at present.
Very consistent winter on the AW circuit has failed to produce a success and still 5lb higher than last win. Place possibilities again and stable has won the last two renewals.
Now 2lb below last winning mark but form has dropped since and needs a turnaround in a competitive contest and from a poor draw.
Tends to need a few runs back so should be spot on now off a competitive mark. Raced on the slower side at Ripon latest and fared better than bare result. Leading hope.
Set alight by the addition of blinkers with a hat-trick over this C&D and a four-timer foiled by trouble in the run latest. Could easily be involved again although up in class.
In good form for new yard and a C&D winner here last start. Up in class and all wins so far have come in a lesser grade.
Sole win came over this C&D although went very close latest. Up in grade and a repeat effort would see him competitive, however can be inconsistent.
Forecasts
Abel Handy (9/4), Super Julius (7/1), Burmese Blazer (15/2), Foxy Forever (10/1), Amazing Grazing (10/1), Dapper Man (10/1), Duke Of Firenze (12/1), War Whisper (12/1), Our Place In Loule (14/1), East Street Revue (20/1), Chookie Dunedin (25/1), Alsvinder (25/1)
Abel Handy is well drawn and has every chance in an open race if building on the promise of his reappearance. Our Place in Loule is flying at present and was unlucky last time but preference is for DAPPER MAN who finished first of the pair to race alone at Ripon and should be fully primed now.
- Dapper Man
- Abel Handy
