Failed to fulfil market expectations last time on AW debut. Starts 2019 for a yard in form, but initial mark looks tough judged on what he's done.
Has not been making much progress lately, but she may be a different proposition back on turf and she has been crying out for a mile. Stable have won this in the past and she has every chance of opening her account.
Has shown ability and temperament in similar measure and well beaten on debut for new yard. A lot will need to have been learnt for him to figure here.
Placed in a couple of AW nurseries at the backend of 2018 and rested following a poor effort last time. Has shown some ability on turf but may be in need of this run.
Big improver last time on handicap debut when a close third behind fitter horses. Up in class here but this is not the strongest of Class 5s.
Well beaten in three starts so far most recently when 14L tenth over 1m at Kempton in November. Makes handicap debut following a break.
Ha shown signs of progress in each of her three starts including last month's handicap debut. However, that latest effort gives her a bit to find with Poet's Magic.
Half-sister to a Group 3 winner for this stable but she has looked far from the finished article in her first three starts. Makes her handicap debut on a reasonable mark if the market outlook is positive.
Makes the long journey from Middleham for a stable that have been known to land a gamble. Caught the eye at Pontefract in September and an in-form claimer is on board. Looks very interesting at this low level.

Forecasts
Akwaan (9/4), Poet's Magic (3/1), Elegant Love (9/2), Laxmi (5/1), Earl Of Harrow (8/1), Lonicera (9/1), Potenza (14/1), Shifting Gold (16/1), Lady Reset (20/1), Four Mile Bridge (40/1)
POET"S MAGIC gets the vote on the balance of a progressive profile, a solid reappearance and the current form of the yard. However, there are a few dark horses in here who could surpass previous efforts and Potenza is certainly one of them as he makes the long journey across country for a small yard. His form figures disguise some clear promise and he needs to be watched very closely in the market. Lonicera is well-bred and should do better as a three-year-old as should Earl Of Harrow and Akwaan.Laxmi has an each-way shout as her yard have won this previously and she has looked the type to do better when stepped up to this distance.
- Poet's Magic
- Laxmi
- Potenza
