4/1
Six-race maiden; ran a reasonable race when finishing just under 4L fourth to Ignatius at Nottingham (1m2f, good to firm) 12 days ago; possible that he'll appreciate dropping back in trip (half-brother to the 7f winner Portledge).

Half-brother to a couple of winners (7f-1m); has struggled to make a positive impression in three starts on the AW at Newcastle (1m-1m2f); handicap/turf debut.

Jazz Hands12
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-7| J: Barry McHugh| T: R A Fahey| OR:  50
6/1
Eight-race maiden; twice placed, including when finishing 4½L third to Calling The Wind at Chelmsford (1m2f) in October 2018; isn't discounted in a weak race despite a more moderate seasonal reappearance.

Royal Countess188
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-7| J: Phil Dennis| T: Mrs L B Normile| OR:  50
80/1
Coach House filly; light on ability on the evidence of her three starts to date (7f-1m); handicapping offers a much more suitable direction of travel, albeit is still expected to struggle.

Bellepowerp25
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-6| J: B A Curtis| T: J Feane| OR:  49
11/10
Six-race maiden; unfortunate when forced to switch on delivering a challenge at Wolverhampton (7f) in January before a promising run at Cork (1m+) on seasonal return; non-runner at Naas on Monday.

Arriba De Toda12
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-2| J: Jamie Gormley(3)| T: B Ellison| OR:  45
22/1
Nine-race maiden; looks to be regressing judged upon his efforts in the early months of 2019; stable going well of late, but their representative is difficult to enthuse over in this contest.

Forecasts

Bellepower (11/10), Truckingby (4/1), Jazz Hands (6/1), Lethal Guest (9/1), Three Castles (14/1), Be Proud (14/1), Arriba De Toda (22/1), Born Fighting (25/1), Royal Countess (80/1)

Verdict

Very few enter the reckoning in a race which is effectively a low grade 3yo maiden masquerading as a handicap. The Irish-trained duo Born Fighting and Bellepower are worth monitoring for signs of market support, with the John James Feane-trained filly showing reasonably solid overall form in the context of this race. However, the tentative advice is to stick with the Mark Johnston-trained TRUCKINGBY who ran well over 1m2f at Nottingham recently and should appreciate dropping back in trip as a half-brother the capable 7f AW handicapper Portledge.
