Expensive Galileo filly who has shown her best form in two starts on the AW. Should do better as a three-year-old, but giving weight all round on her reappearance will not be easy.
Good deal of promise in six starts, but remains a maiden and was well held on reappearance run on the AW at Newcastle. May be happier back on turf, but needs to up her game.
Disappointing on final start as a juvenile at Yarmouth, but had previously shown a fair level of form to be placed twice at that venue. Steps up from 6f on return to action and is one to note in the betting.
Seasonal reappearance and first start in a handicap when scoring narrowly over 7f at Wolverhampton earlier this month. Up 4lb back on turf, but is on the upgrade and longer trip ought to suit on breeding.
Successful in a Kempton novice event last month, but was too keen when a beaten favourite on handicap debut at Chelmsford on latest outing. Was not beaten too far, though, and is one to consider on first start on turf.
Good deal of promise on all three starts over 6f, latterly at Ascot in September. Steps up in trip for handicap debut and positive jockey booking offers hope of a big run.
Definite signs of talent in three runs as a juvenile. Makes seasonal reappearance/handicap debut for respected connections so she is one to watch in the betting.
Placed on all three AW runs as a juvenile over 6f and 7f. Has had wind surgery ahead of this return to action and is one to consider on handicap debut.
Promise on first three starts before disappointing on final run as a juvenile in a 6f Kempton nursery. Down 4lb and promises to be suited by this step up in trip on her first run as a three-year-old.
Gradual improvement in three starts as a two-year-old. Makes her reappearance run in a handicap and opening mark does not look too punitive.
Mixed form in four starts on the AW, latterly in handicap company. Makes turf debut off 3lb lower mark, but has plenty to prove.
Forecasts
I'm Available (15/8), Mary Somerville (9/2), King's Girl (11/2), Al Messila (15/2), I'lletyougonow (10/1), Isango (11/1), Arctic Fox (14/1), Nostrovia (25/1), Tartlette (28/1), Desert Lantern (33/1), Hanbury Dreams (66/1)
Mary Somerville will be aiming to go some way to justifying her purchase price of 800,000 gns, but may be vulnerable under top weight so it may be worth taking a chance with the well-bred KING'S GIRL, who should enjoy stepping up in distance and appeals as the type to do much better as a three-year-old. Others who enter calculations in a trappy contest include Nostrovia, Isango, I'm Available, I'lletyougonow, Arctic Fox and Al Messila.
