Plenty of promise on both starts at Ayr and this venue in the autumn. Probably needs to take another step forward, but should not be underestimated on seasonal reappearance.

Garswood colt who cost €50,000 as a yearling and was quite well fancied for this month's Leicester debut in which he started slowly and finished only tenth of 13. Should do better for connections who are enjoying a fine spell.
Gelded son of Havana Gold who fetched only 5,000 gns as a foal but is a half-brother to three winners. Best watched as he makes his first appearance on a racecourse.

Always behind on both starts at Kempton and over C&D, although did show a little more last time. Looks a work in progress and may do better once he goes handicapping.

Kingman colt who cost 180,000 gns as a foal and a whopping €650,000 as a yearling. A half-brother to two winners in France, he shaped well to be third over 1m on debut at Newbury and is open to plenty of improvement.

Gelded son of Toronado who cost 15,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to four winners over a variety of distances. Probably best watched as he makes his debut.

Daughter of Society Rock who is a half-sister to a couple of middle-distance winners. Not disgraced when 11th of 19 on debut at Newbury, and is probably one for further down the line.

A 160,000gns purchase by Iffraaj, she is from the family of Listed winners Nashmiah (7f-1m2f) and Streets Ahead (1m). No show on debut at Newmarket and probably needs time to develop.

Forecasts

Roseman (1/5), Lady Lawyer (2/1), Deebee (3/1), Junooh (7/2), Hat Yai (7/1), Skerryvore (10/1), Mandocello (33/1), Heart In Havana (33/1), Society Sweetheart (50/1), Starlight (50/1)

Verdict

Lady Lawyer won well on debut, but it is not easy for fillies to give weight away to colts and geldings and marginal preference is for ROSEMAN, who shaped well on his first start at Newbury and is open to plenty of improvement for his in-form stable. Deebee should not be underestimated, while others to consider include Junooh and Hat Yai.
